When Gon confronts Pitou after the infiltration to the palace, the narrator makes a passing remark on how Pitou was so absorbed in the kings' command and how she can survive this situation that she simply couldn't hear what Gon was saying at that moment. She later comes back to her senses when she had to convince this intruder to wait and breaks her arm. This all just happen to be so very important when it comes to character development. So as a book reader I love this sort of thing.

I believe P2 had no idea who "Kite" was because she never knew his name. In fact going from this episode it's made clear she didn't even know who Gon was up until now. She didn't remember Gon was there with Kite till she saw Kite again. That's why she said " I remember.. back then you were..." implicates she just remembered Gon.

PItou was showing empathy due to the context of Gon seeing his friend actually dead. Pitou that fought Kite in ep 85 is not the same as Pitou in ep 130. Its called character progression

pitou should of put her fist through gon's skull the moment she heard komugi was in the clear. Instead, she stands still for nearly half an episode staring at this threat having a breakdown instead of attacking a wide-open opponent.
