It depends. Work pants get washed after every use due to deli stains (Mayo, ranch, milkshake explosion, pickle juice, etc. That white stain down the side of your leg is not a good look multiple days in a row) Anything else? A week.

2 to 3 days for anything but Jeans, jeans can take it.

Levi Strauss recommends washing denim about once every 10 wears with spot cleaning for stains between washes. You’re also only supposed to use cold water, wash them inside out, only use mild detergents, and preferably hang them inside out in the shade to dry. Apparently, repeated wears between washes is what results in jeans developing a fit and pattern unique to you (e.g. lines where creases form). Obviously the multiple wears don’t have to be on consecutive days, so they don’t get funky quite so fast.

As long as they're not dirty, I'll wear jeans 4-5 times before I wash them. But I don't wear them on consecutive days so they have time to freshen up again. So basically I'll have 3 pairs of jeans that I wear in a rotation 4-5 times and then wash them. Pro tip: washing your jeans inside out makes them last longer

I mean, sure, for that reason (and because it is more comfortable) I change from my "in public" jeans/shorts when I get home. But I will wear them again the next time I go out "in public", be it the same day or the next. (And unless they get noticably dirty I will do so for a few weeks.)

As a driver examiner myself (yes, I do conduct road tests), I usually rotate my pants daily. Especially after being outside all day sweating in the heat. It's rare for me to reuse the same pair of pants twice in the same week

Before covid hit, it was 2-3 days for me but that's every other day like I use one for monday, a diff for tuesday, the monday one for wednesday again, etc. After the pandemic started, I just use it once before having it washed. Keeps virus from spreading that way if it did cling to my jeans.

Haven't washed my jeans in over a year. Denim doesn't harbour bacteria and not washing them keeps them looking nicer longer.

I don’t wear pants, pants wear me.

I only wear jeans, there for i go 3 or 4 weeks with the same pants, i found the more you wear them without washing the more comfortable they get. Also i love my jeans so i have 6 pair of the same brand, model, size and color, so i imagine even though i change them eventually people must believe i wear the same pants for years.

You left out an option. When they get dirty. Whether that takes 2 days or a month, is unknown until they hit the hamper. Too many factors determine how long it takes for the pants to get dirty.

1 day... I wasn't aware that this was a prevalent thing... I don't wear jeans, but I do wear shorts. If I've been out somewhere, then I don't want to lay in bed with shorts I was wearing when I sat on a chair someone else used. My face may end up making contact with the spot I thoughtlessly sat my butt down on in my bed after coming home from say... a restaurant.

I wear denim jeans everyday, and I'm not overly active, so they're gonna get washed when they need to be washed. If that takes 6 months, oh well!

I use a pair of pants for a week straight unlike shirts I find them a lot harder to get dirty.

Typically only if they look dirty, but I also rarely wear jeans so it may sound gross but hey you've seen worse on Rick and Morty 🤷🏾‍♂️

I will wash them every 2ish weeks but I do not wear my jeans every day. I typically wear dress slacks and those get washed after 1 or 2 uses.
