It's got to be a PTSD feeling. Man I feel for her... after dealing with that awkward church moment she has to get back home to those despicable parents. Man they sucked!
I am of two minds on this. Most likely, it's just PTSD from killing Brainwave. But there is a possibility that Brainwave, in his last moments, put his psychic consciousness into her mind as a form of self preservation.

I'll say brainwave just give an argument to it. The noise was brainwaves sound and then she remembered what happened, It could have been when he was bleeding out after the throat cut. But it's probably PTSD because that would be more interesting for her to have to overcome

Definitely trauma. She talked Rick out of killing grundy earlier in the finale and then turns around and kils Brainwave herself. Probably feels like a hypocrite.
