I think it was the Hoojib who was being used as a sweat rag by one of the Hutt twins. Tired of being mistreated that way, the Hoojib communicated with the assassins telepathically and hired them in the Hutts’ name. Life in Jabba’s palace would be an improvement, since it’s cooler (less Hutt sweat) and cave-like (Hoojibs love caves). And if the plan backfires and the Hutts are killed, the Hoojib’s free. It’s a win-win, really.

I'm thinking maybe another crime syndicate. Maybe Crimson Dawn? Would be pretty cool to see the return of Crimson Dawn to live action!!

The twins and the mayor are too obvious. I think it was the Majordomo. The mayor suspected it so he had the assasin killed to 'keep matters inside the family'. I think the mayor will offer the Majordomo to Boba as a token of goodwill after he resolves his dispute with the Hutts.

I think it might be someone that we haven't seen yet.

I believe it'll be the Majordomo, in Cahoots with someone else perhaps a particular crimson dawn member

A thought does occur, Fennec said you were really paying for the name. Maybe someone that didn't know what they were doing hired them. Or maybe they went with weak assassins to test Boba?

I think it’s a new party because it would be too obvious for it to be the mayor or the twins. The times we saw these two factions they have basically said “we want you dead or under us”. I think the classic misdirection is what’s going on here.

I think it’s the mayor, he has shown to give little importance to Boba as if he was just a stone on his path. Of course the twins seem to fit perfectly, but I feel that the mayor used Garsa as a distraction to get away in that palace scene, since he knew about the twins arrival.

My guess is there’s someone behind the scenes who sent the assassins, using the Mayor as a puppet like Maul did with Prime Minister Almec

Whoever hired them clearly got the same Mongol Horde uniting under Temujin vibes I got from watching Fett and the Tuskens. If the Tuskens start riding those speeders in close, opening fire, then retreating out of range of returning blaster fire, rinse and repeat, then Boba Khan confirmed and the galaxy will bend the knee. Or maybe Ja-Ja did it, he accidently helped Sheev's Empire rise, why not help the Boba Crime Empire?

Definitely wondering if Garsa Fwip filled Boba’s helmet w credits as payment for the assassins— it kept boba from wearing his helmet and would have been a convenient and covert way to pay the assassins
