I didnt think about Kyle suspecting John. I figured the main drama would be from Kyle realizing that nearly everyone in his life including his new girlfriend already knew

Yes and no. At first when they revealed that the two know each other, I immediately thought of possible relationships and my first thought was either they're really good friends, or they're siblings or something. Didn't think about husband/wife at first, but after some thought it does make the most sense. So while I usually disagree with Aaron's theories (I'm still holding him accountable for OnoNATopoeia), I guess I was initially in the middle.

It's a classic "Chekov's grieving husband"... they spent time with Peia telling Lois how her husband is dealing with her cancer... Then reveal that she's connected to a person giving people super powers to deal with her cancer. Besides the point that the way they interacted was definitely couple vibes.

It was clear to me that there was some kind of connection, however, I wasn't sure what it was. Sometimes ages are ambiguous in shows and I thought she might have been his daughter. In saying that, I did miss who it was in the face reveal until I saw your reaction.

When she took off her mask and Bruno was like Peia and held her I was like yup they’re married! Also we all knew Mateo was Bruno’s son it was extremely obvious

If it wasn't clear they were together, at the very least it was clear they were close. I think the reveal in the first flashback was to just build on the backstory of their relationship and past. Or even just for those of the audience who might need the last little shove for them to realize.

I think Eric just needs to feel the "shame" and take the L on this one. IMO it was pretty clear they had some sort of intimate/personal relationship after the last episode.

I had a suspicion early on in the season when we met Peia in the hospital that she could be like Bruno's wife, and then the last episode, when we got the reveal of Onomatopoeia, made it feel obvious to me.

That’s how I interpreted it from the moment of the reveal. Definitely seemed like they were together by how they were acting.

It’s one of those things where when you’ve seen a lot of TV shows you start to notice patterns in storytelling that make it easier to predict these things. I personally saw it coming but I understand if other people didn’t
