ALL ACCESS - Industry Consensus Dynasty Rankings (January 2024)
🕑 Added 2024-01-20 12:18:35 +0000 UTCThe dynasty community is stronger than ever. This month, I've collected FIFTEEN (15!) different categories dynasty rankings sets that have been updated in the last month and aggregated them into an industry consensus ranking.
Like last month, the categories consensus includes the high and low rankings for each player, as well as the difference between my ranking and the consensus (the "DIFF" column).
And NEW this month: I've compiled my points dynasty rankings with two other points dynasty rankings sets (Hashtag and Basketball Monster's BAZEMORE) to create a points league consensus ranking. Note that BAZEMORE is much lower on older players than other rankings, so you'll see older stars much lower than you'd expect.
These rankings are a good way to see where the trade value could be in your league since the consensus will likely match how your league mates value players. Look for places where my ranking is much higher or lower - that's where you can get the most value in trades.

You would need to explain the league size, roster sizes, numbers of starters, etc. Cant evaluate trades like this without context.

You can see how I value the top ‘24 draft picks in my most recent dynasty rankings - it will vary every year how valuable they are but the value drops DRASTICALLY as you get to pick 10 and below.

Hey Matt, how do you value 1st round picks in a league that is full-on dynasty? In other words, when the draft comes around, we will only be picking from the incoming rookie class, we keep all of other players. I recently made a trade I might be regretting, (their) Anfernee + '24 1st + '25 1st for (my) KD. The firsts project to be top 3. I pulled the trigger, but now that I am fraught full of picks, I want to know their value before possibly moving them as additional pieces to move.

Hi Matt, thanks for all your content. I have a trade in points dynasty to give away Zion, Jaquez and a 2026 first and second for AD and Kawhi, 12 team league and I already have Tatum Trae Hali Dame KD Vuk and Miles Bridges, so that first rounder should be pretty late. I should take that deal no brainer right?
