This might not be a super popular opinion but I think 107-108 here (and their corresponding chapters) are among the best writing in One Piece. We've already seen this before with villains like Kuro, Arlong, and Wapol, but Oda is masterful at making punchable, despicable villains, and Crocodile might just be his best we've seen thus far. It's the way Crocodile is making these sweeping chess moves throughout the island at the very same moment he is carefully manipulating Vivi's every thought and emotion. Vivi is no slouch in this scene either, and she's fighting so desperately for what she believes in this moment, but unfortunately for her, that's exactly what Crocodile wants. I once used this scene in a writing class for a scene analysis because it's just that good.

Just a question. have you guys thought about watching one pace? it’s the same thing they just edit the episodes to be faster so instead of two episodes in an hour you can watch like three or four.
