*This is not spoilers* The story of Noland was 400 years ago. The Shandians have been at war since that part of Jaya landed up hear. God - Sky Knight said that the island sung when it showed up, and that the sound was so beautiful that it triggered the war. They don't explain the birds, I think we're just supposed to assume that since everything else up here has evolved to be bigger, so did the birds. The only science that applies in One Piece is the One Piece science. Sometimes its what you'd think, other times it's just what's fun lmao. So glad you guys are enjoying this arc as much as I have the few dozen times I've seen it. It's the heart of what One Piece is.

You're not supposed to fully know what mantra is at this moment, so enjoy putting the pieces together. Haylo, nice call on Upper Yard being the other half of Jaya! A lot of lore has been dropped so far in this arc and it can be quite overwhelming for first time watchers, but y'all are doing very well with all the lore so far 👍
