Love that you're doing the cover stories! Wild that these are not animated in place of filler. Not quite sure what the deal is with the robot voice doing its own interpretation of the images instead of just having the text written by the author there but it's better than not seeing it at all!

Yes they are, e.g. in this cover story it's revealed that Dalton is the new King of Sakura Kingdom (former Drum Island). We's already encountered this information just a few episodes back, when we saw the people react to the bounties and Kureha told Dalton that it's strange for a king to not live in the castle :D

Wapol has actually one of the most cursed devil fruits, as he's constantly in hunger, and can never really taste anything more. So I was hoping he got a redemption selling toys, but in the end he's now more of a corpo figure, and back to his old habits. Well at least he got that gold digger haha

The thing is oda is very realistic some people will be the worst and be just outright atrocious and may end up in the worst position possible but in reality successful people tend to come back either equal to before or even stronger yes it sucks bad people don’t deserve to be successful but that’s how the world works it’s very rare when the people suffering actually have succes in life 🤷‍♂️

Can't say this enough but I REALLY love your cover story reactions. I had the same reaction as you girls regarding Wapol, because I HATE him so much lmao. But that's what makes the story interesting: not all bad people get what they deserve because life is unfair, nor they had the chance to redeem themselves and be good. Sometimes bad people just keep being bad or worse 🤣
