Oh man. I forgot this was ep 4. I watched this at maybe 11 or 12 years old for the first time. Every time ppl compare dark stuff that happens in tv shows. I bring this up. That being said I’m 31 now and don’t feel like ruining my Sunday I’m skipping this ep. I hope you enjoyed the emotional turmoil lol 😂🤣

This episode always destroys me. Besides OP and a few other shows this 1 right here always breaks me, and I feel you Kiss brings tears to my eyes every time. He did it twice, and the first time what was left of his wife was so gone she could and would only say "Kill me". A mothers soul so broken only death was her salvation, and Nina & Alexander too innocent to understand still showed only love. This episode was 1 of the reason I joined the military are humans this horrendous and I learned yes, and much much worse.

I love these kind of episodes in anime. It shows there are no limits in creating a story and everything can happen. Is it that the main character dies mid series, the hometown of the hero gets annihilated after got to love all their citizens or like in this case a father turning his own kid into a monster out of his selfish desires.

Even after so many years...this moment still gave me some goosebumps. Honestly, in the first FMA anime run, they spent multiple episodes with Alexander and Nina so you built a stronger relationship with them. So my hatred for Shou Tucker is even greater. I don't use the word evil lightly...but he IS evil. The Elric brothers show great restraint. I would have killed that man on the spot.

Fun Facts 1. The Mangaka is a Women 2. Evertime a Charakter is dying, the Mangaka is drawing a little soul going to heaven in the last page. For Shou Tucker she did the opposite thing. He goes to hell, and he is the the only one who she does that to. That emphasises how disgusting his actions were. 3. Scar say 2 Souls are going to heaven. But there are 3 Souls Shou Tucker, Nina and the Dog Alexaner. I think the 2 souls he mentioned are the Girl and the Dog. Not Shou Tucker
