So another thing that goes into rumors or ideas of the supernatural is that kids and animals tend to have more of an affinity to see or detect such entities. Animals are able to because of their heightened senses that we humans don't have. Kids because their senses haven't been influenced by our current day society yet so they tend to see more compared to how we as adults were taught to believe/ perceive they're not real so our perception of them dims. However it's never really gone per say but we still have the idea/ concept of perceiving negative emotions or if an area has a bad enough vibe that triggers our fight or flight response when there seems to be nothing visible.

Oh, yeah I just commented on this above before I saw your comment. Kintama is Japanese slang for testicles. It literally means gold ball or golden balls: Kin = gold Tama = ball

“Kintama”, literally “gold ball” or “golden balls”, is Japanese slang for testicles, hence Okarun’s missing body parts being golden in this anime. On a side note, I almost killed a close friend of mine when I told her David Beckham’s nickname was Golden Balls. She laughed so much she couldn’t breathe and we were both genuinely worried for her life for a few seconds. “Kintama” is apparently very funny in Japan.

thank god One Piece prepared them for sad backstorys. And especially in this episode i always have to smile when Turbo Granny talks because she says One Piece (the red dress) multiple times and has Luffys voice. :D

Loved the direction this show is taking, and great reaction as usual. Honestly, Aira is...interesting lol. In case you guys dont already know, and apologies if you already do, but a 'maneki neko', a beckoning cat is a popular japanese figurine, you find it in stores...etc. According to legends, folktales...etc, it 'beckons' good luck, prosperity...etc. So that's what she meant with the whole luck/good fortune thing
