I think oda said he chose for the marines to make choppers bounty so low because they didn't want people just bringing them unalived dear to take in the bounty, so they made it unappealing.

To put Chopper's bounty in context: Using fictional pirate mathematics, the value of 1 berry is around $0.01 USD. Chopper's bounty is a whopping 50 cents, which most probably is less than what it would cost to print his bounty posters 😂

Not entirely correct. They read the comments and discord and if enough people suggest that filler adds to the world they watch it if not then they skip it. Its just that the filler up from Skypea to Water 7 is great so enough people suggested that they watch it, like they skipped the recap filler on the tower during Enies Lobby. They will make their decisions and then act on them. All we can do is express our opinion on why we do or don't like the filler with out spoiling the contents.

Not sure if someone mentioned these already but 2 small details I loved about this arc: 1) Robin never called any of the straw hats by their names until Enies Lobby, only by their title. She called Nami "Navigator", Usopp "Long Nose", Chopper "Doctor", etc. She intentionally was trying to keep her distance but now calls them by their names as part of the crew. 2) If you remember the tide from Long Ring Long Land and how it hid the connection between the hills of the island, that tide is what creates Aqua Laguna. They both happen once a year.

I love how much you guys love the story and the crew. Oda is a genius. At first glance, One Piece is such a goofy idea, once you get to this point, you start thinking to yourself: "this is one of the best stories I have ever been exposed to!" You love the characters, the world is so beautiful and coherent, the mythology just keeps building. It compares favorably to things like The Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables, The Odyssey & The Iliad, Lord of the Rings, etc. It's truly one of the great stories.

I like to imagine that the real reason for Choppers joke bounty, something like 50 cents, is that he's just too cute and they didn't want bounty hunters hunting him so they made him so low it's not even worth the hassle bringing him in.
