Season 2 will be amazing. I started reading the manga after the anime finished because i couldn't wait to know what happens. I thought I wouldn't be so desperate for more anime if i read it... i was wrong. I want the anime even more. the story in the manga is still amazing, the art is beautiful, but the anime's music, voice acting, pacing, animation, it bring the story to a new amazing level! And now that i know whats coming i want to see it in anime form even more!!!! AHHHHHHH

When I was first watching the finale I kept it together until the last scene with Himmel, that made me bawl like a baby :D The shot of him walking into the white background is the same as the one in ep.1, shown during his funeral. I interpret him saying "It would be embarrasing when we meet again" as something meant directly for Frieren. As if he knew that someday, long after he's gone, she will seek him out.

That’s so unfortunate! I wish the work conditions were better, mangakas are constantly developing health issues due to the demand they go through. If only they could work on their creative vision with stability and proper rest 😭 I hope the mangaka has a steady recovery ❤️‍🩹

The ending soundtrack to this show is as iconic to me as DanDaDan's opening. The lyrics and the relation to the story being told is just so perfect. And I appreciate that at the end of every episode the show does some after care with "Are you alright?" like they knew we just went through an emotional roller coster. The season finale of this show was just perfect and seamlessly adding that OST into the final scene as the credits roll and we get a little catchup on where the rest of our known characters were at before the break was the icing on the cake! I'll be alright, Freiren. Until we meet again...

If you liked the writing in this show then "Oshi No Ko" is definitely one you guys should check out. It touches on the entertainment industry and is mega popular in Japan. As content creators I'm sure there will be parts in the series that you guys will be able to relate to.

There's a few moments in the show Frieren mentions that Fern smells nice or Fern gets jealous when Frieren mentions others smell nice. So of course Fern has to get the clean and floral laundry spell. The floral smell is likely due to Frierens favorite spell being the bed of flowers spell. She said her favorite thing about her journey is seeing Frieren happy so she added another way. Very cool little tidbits you notice when you rewatch.

I think Himmel saying «It will be embarrising when we meet again» is perfectly referencing episode 1 of the show, making it the perfect end to season 1. Frieren tried not to cry at Himmels funeral, as if she knew they would meet again. She also references it again in episode 4, when Eisen tells her to go to heaven and meet Himmel. Frieren then says «it’s already top late», again referencing the crying, because now she will be embarresed when she meets him again 😭

Great reaction for the series. If you want another "breath of fresh air" show (i.e. one that is a little more calm and not doom and gloom and a bit funny but also thoughtful) I would recommend Apothecary Diaries.

There should be a second season. The manga goes pretty far. I'm so glad y'all reacted to this show. If you haven't seen it yet. I recommend "Ranking of Kings."

Both serie and denken are both so interesting, youd think theyd both be typical evil anime villains when you meet them but denken turns out to just be a hard shelled grandpa who never got the chance to be one and serie was just awkward and childish and unable to understand her own feelings. Also this episode destroys me every time lol. Cant wait for s2! I got caught up to the manga immediately after this ep aired and there’s so much brilliant parts im dying to see animated. Appreciate u two and ur reactions as always!
