About the difference between Wrath and GreedLing, a few episodes ago Wrath said "All that was left was a soul and the emotion of Wrath. I don't even know if this soul belongs to someone who was turned into the stone, or if it was mine to begin with." So it's safe to say the lines are much more blurred for Wrath. Just pointing it out cause for as many times as I've watched this show that comment from him always escaped me.

Ling being a great host for Greed makes sense, no? As he said, he's greedy for power to protect his people and attain his goals(become emperor), to make Lan Fan's sacrifice worth it

Bits and bytes

Father was able to reabsorb Greed and Gluttony, hence he is able to recreate them. As you saw here, he creates them from separating those “sins” from his body via philosopher stone. Lust’s stone was completely exhausted when she died. So he won’t be able to recreate another Lust. You hit the nail on the head with assuming Father has a good amount of souls within him.

Alphonse has always been more childish/shy than his brother in regards to human interactions. It's probably mainly just his character, he's one year younger but it's not so big of a difference that it could explain that difference in behavior. I never considered Edward as a child in that story, while I always saw Alphonse as one.
