The OVAs come before season 2. You might have to search for them as they might not be on Crunchyroll but they are out there with subtitles and are really worth watching as they were made by the same people who made season 1. After the OVAs is season 2. I really hope you enjoy season 2. I didn't but that doesn't mean it's bad. Lots of other people liked it so don't be put off by any negative comments you might read before watching it. I hope you do enjoy it. Season 3 has just been given a release date of this October, so you won't have to wait years and years and years, etc. like everyone else did. I'm lucky, too as I only watched this for the first time quite recently. We are all hoping for a great third season.

The animation right before Boros unleashes his final move (the weird heartbeat thing) is the same thing that happened when Saitama had that dream about the Mole People. Through fighting Saitama, Boros’ heart was able to beat strongly and he was able to feel emotion again I love this ending because Saitama gives Boros exactly what he himself wants and can never have

A different studio does S2, that’s why the production isn’t as good, and sadly the same studio that did S2 is doing S3. A trailer just came out and it doesn’t bode well either. Mob Psycho is amazing though so I agree they should just go straight to that.

After S2 yall should hop on Mob Psycho 100, same creator as OPM. There’s a noticeable drop in production value for S2. Not sure why exactly since S1 is so loved but S3 hopefully picks it back up. & Tornado is almost 30 lol

Season 2 is just so much more enjoyable to watch in my opinion. The power scaling and build up really makes it entertaining. Plus the antagonist is amazing

I wish I was optimistic about it, but the signs aren't very good so far. It will be the same studio as for season 2, which was criticized for its average animation compared with season 1. Also, that studio is especially overworked and struggling these days so it's very concerning. On a side note, it seems they'll change Darkshine's character design because they want to avoid any risk of controversies (in the west). I hope they'll surprise everyone, since the part of the story that'll be covered by season 3 have some of the craziest fights ever, and I mean, ever. But I'm pessimistic, especially compared with the visuals in the manga which are amongst the most impressive stuff I've seen.

This fight says SO much about Saitama as a person. Even though he couldn’t have what Boros got to experience, even though he could’ve ended it in one punch the whole time, he wanted to give Boros the satisfaction of a truly thrilling and hard-fought battle. It was only when Boros threatened to destroy the world that Saitama got serious, and he genuinely seems so sad that he has to kill Boros in the moment. When his piano theme starts playing, it’s because he is still so deeply lonely at the top, and no one can understand or give him the fight he craves.
