Yeah, if you aren't well versed into this show, you would think that this season is a complete story already and it could've worked. They paced season 1 so well that you can be satisfied if this was the ending of the show.

The problem with watching this show right now is that Season 2 ends in the middle of an arc, and the next part isn't scheduled until autumn this year. This season is so amazing, but it feels almost unfair for me to judge the second one when it's not yet complete. Hope you will both enjoy regardless!

My opinion on season 2 is far less than 1, but it’s still enjoyable. Here’s hoping the recently announced season 3 is a return to form.

The writing is as good as ever in s2, the animation just isn't as good. But what do you expect when s1 literally had the animation miracle team working on it?

I definitely have thoughts about One Punch Man, but I will keep them to myself until you ladies are caught up. I'm anime-only with this story, so once y'all are caught up, there's no way I could spoil you lol. To me, Tatsumaki is funny but quite annoying (it's the voice for me lol). The ending to this episode is hilarious ("Back to one punch!") 🤣🤣🤣

I agree. Season 2 isn’t bad, it’s just that season 1 was so good. It doesn’t help that the fandom has a hard on for Mad House studios so most of them are just hating on the change in studios, but I’ve heard that Mad House is notorious for only doing one season. Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong, that’s just what I’ve gathered from reading rants online over the years. FR though, J.C.Staff isn’t bad and I enjoyed watching season 2. Animators have a grueling job with intense hours and are typically very over worked so we should be giving them much more appreciation for all of the shows that they pump out for us 🫶🏽 P.S. Season 3 is confirmed to release on October of 2025 by J.C.Staff once again.

Interested to see how you feel about the meteoric drop in quality for season 2. The writing is still good and my favorite character gets their time in the spotlight but it's uh ... yeah it's pretty bad

I thought It was incredibly empathetic and understanding of Genos to see a bit of himself in Amai Mask. I'm sure most, like myself, thought "what jerk butt that pretty boy Handsome Kamen Amai Mask!". But Genos gave Mask the benefit of the doubt and didn't hold his sour attitude against him.

You have a season 2 (took 4 years) and season 3 starts in October (took 6 years) I would be surprised if we ever see Seaosn 4 at this rate xD

12 episodes is actually the average length of a season for anime. It just so happened that a lot of the shows you guys watch are among the few that run really long lol.
