There is no beef between Crocodile and Doflamingo, Doflamingo is just peeved Crocodile didn't want to join forces with him. Garp is my favorite character and I truly hope you guys will understand his confliction with Ace and the navy. Remember this is everything that Garp stands for. Like Zoro said to luffy "If you get in the way of my dream, I will kill you". Garp know he has to act but he really does not want to because its family vs his entire existance

I think the beef between Crocodile and Doflamingo, is more about him rejecting his alliance deal, than some real past. Crocodile to begin with does not trust anyone, and obviously know that Doflamingo ain't trustworthy anyway. He also only want to be at the top in such relationships, not as an underling nor even an equal partner
