We ABSOLUTELY need Dad's reaction to at least episode 1 on here. As a father to a daughter let me tell you that episode 1/chapter 1 of Spy Family chokes me up every single time.

Yor mentions that, besides her brother, she hasn't let anyone get close to her. And Loid has been a spy for years and doesn't 'allow' himself to get close to someone else. Both are very unaware of their growing feelings for each other, which rssults in scenes like these that are absolutely hilarious 😂 I was sad too that Loid went into spy mode right away...but he hasn't been his true self for years and is used to react that way. I mean, he might not even know who he truly is when you take away his spy persona. It's absolutely wonderful he opened up about himself on the bench with Yor, after noticing how sad and truly hurt she was. Always makes me tear up 🥲❤️ Becky and Anya are the cutest! So glad for both of them to have found such a lovely friend in each other 🥰

Loid deserved a kick in the face for trying to take advantage of Yor's feelings. I think it was a realization that Yor is strong and deserves respect, which is why afterwards he opened up to her and was then honest about his expectations for their relationship. I think before Loid and Yor can truly be together, Loid needs to be put into a situation where he chooses Yor over his mission.

Drunk Yor always cracks me up 😂😂😂 My favorite part of this portion of the episode is easily Loid going in for the kiss, Yor kicking him to heaven, Loid (somehow) landing perfectly, and everyone in the bar clapping 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My other favorite part is Yor and Loid on the bench. Actually, they're both tied for the top spot for very different reasons lol Anya and Becky are very good for each other as friends. Becky's always there for Anya and Anya brings Becky down to earth a bit (but just a bit lol) and helps her to realize what's really important in life. Them getting matching key chain adornments is absolutely adorable

Saori Hayami really perfected Yor's drunk voice. Fun fact: Martha, Becky's butler, is voiced by Shoko Tsuda, who played Izumi Curtis (the Elric brothers' teacher) in Fullmetal Alchemist.
