Refresher on the timeline since i was forgetting. how long things have happened 987 - Thors abandons the War 1002 - We meet 6 year old Thorfin and Thors is killed by Askeladd 1012 - Thorfin attacks the fort and earns the right to challenge Askeladd to a duel again. 1013 - Thorfinn challenges Thorkell and rescues the prince with Askeladd's men. so at this point Thorfin has spent almost 2/3 of his life with Askeladd and the crew and is 16/17 years old.

Thorkell's just living his best life, but he also showed that he's smarter than he looks in this episode, too. Love his respect for Thors, too. I mean, for a guy like him to easily admit that Thors is stronger than him is pretty crazy
