Well, not if they don't knock him out but ya know.

Ok, one small detail that doesn't make sense... Mamboshi saying that Noah shouldn't get damaged, tells Shirahoshi to swim up, and they want to go beat Decken.. Which.. would make his fruit power stop working, and the ship would plunge down and get damaged anyway xD

I always interpreted the shock effect as something along the lines of Luffy hitting a nerve, which feels like a jolt.

to me the snake shot always seemed like it just made that sound effect because he gripped where Hordy's heart is, and with all the steroids Hordy is on its lowkey like a heart attack.

Snake Shot is a grip move it seems. Just like when Luffy's fingers shattered Arlong's saw blade, he's that strong just by pinching Hordy, likely with Haki.

On the snake shot I looked to see what sound effect was used in the manga and its a crik crak. A "crick crack" (or in this case crik crak) sound effect is an onomatopoeic representation of a sharp, snapping noise. It signifies something breaking, snapping, or cracking

"Vander Decken seems done-zo. I'm not so torn up about that one!" I'm not sure if you meant it, but nice one! Considering how he went out.

The first time I saw this technique of Luffy, the Snake Shot, I understood it would maybe work like those gag shockers. They don't really shock you and they are not even using any electricity, but it feels similar to an actual shock. So I think Luffy created vibrations to do something similar, but stronger than a kids toy and much more painful.

Very good analysis at the end. You two really are the best reactors :D!
