As a videoplayer I suggest QuickTime because it respects the embedded color profile while other mediaplayers not. I’v got different color temperature in VLC.

These map are great. Which software are you using to play the video in infinite loop on tv? The grid scale is ok? I might use a acrilic grid layer above the TV. To avoid damages. Testing this weekend! =D
