The quality and evolution of the animation is amazing. I think it just need a better way to download ALL files of each tier once, search for each post (now it's more than 180) it's confusing and messy to organized by type > static / animated. Maybe one permament link for each TIER with all files updated. Maybe it's to big or I dunno. thanks!

I was going to use the editor on an iMac I have put in a DIY support. Is the editor going to work or do I have to have two separate screens (like a computer plus a TV)?

Great work on all of your maps! I use them with Encounter+ on my iPad (which means I don’t get the awesome sounds, alas, but we make do!). I’ve noticed that in some of your older posts, you link the video files directly instead of via Drive — which means I can’t download them with my particular set-up. Any plans to add in the Google Drive links? You have such a robust back catalogue that I want to be able to browse/download all of them!

Is Fog of War turned on for the maps? they show black till the fog is brushed away...

Having used the DDEditor/Manager/Player for a couple weeks for encounters, Yes, you can turn on Fog of War for a map by clicking on the map in the editor and then the changing the "no FOW" slider. it will then show completely black, and you can use the tools to brush away the fog as your players go.

Does the display app have any kind of masking ability, so I can (for example) display a dungeon map but hide the rooms the players haven't entered yet?

Hello I just bought the editor and I payed for the 5 dollar CG pack and have been trying to figure out the Editor program. I have been trying to get my player to actually play my static images but I just get a black screen. I load all my images in order on the editor, then I go to the manager and the player loads up right after and my screen freaks out and the player comes in with a black screen. Any idea why that happens? Thanks for the help.

If you manually delete the thumbnails subfolder the editor will regenerate all of the thumbnails upon the next launch. Make sure that you have the latest version installed.

Is there a way to auto generate thumbnails to use in the Dynamic Dungeons Editor with the UHD mkv files? I can import them fine, but without thumbnails everything just shows up blank on the grid. I feel like I'm missing a step somewhere.

Ben, you have some options. There is a player app that the folks at Dynamic Dungeons make, but you can also use any video player. I use VLC.

this might be a little dumb to ask, but if i sign up for Chaotic good and pay say $5 for the 1st month do i get everything in the archive or do i need to choose which map i want and then $5 every other map i want? i ask because i'm on govt assistance and might not be able to do a consistent sub, but the work you do looks great!! i wanna support this even a little bit!

New CG'er - truly impressed with all the work you have put in here - these are gonna be a big dang upgrade for my sessions! I'm generally looking around the web for transparent BG animated props like single breezy trees and whatnot, have those been included in any of these packs? I guess this is my vote for some modular pngs and animated elements to fancy up even static maps! Right now I am using the particle effects that are included (which are amazing, by the way), but would love some additional options to alter things like the grasslands!

Great maps, can't wait to try them out with the new table I'm making. Just had a couple questions. 1. Do you have any plans to make the older map packs easier to download in .zip files like the newer ones? Its really nice just being able to download the google drive zip folder for each of the newer packs, keeps everything organized better. 2. For the map player/manager is there an easier option to switch between different scenes? It works great for a dungeon layout, going from room to room using the arrow keys. But it would be nice to be able to load all the maps from an adventure and be able to see them and switch using the manager, rather then closing and opening a new file. Just a thought, Keep up the good work.

Is there a complete text list of all the file names somewhere? I am loading up and organizing all the maps but I feel I am sure I missed some. I honestly would have paid good money to just have a thumb drive all loaded up ready to go. :) Such awsome work. The gridded HD maps are optimized for 40”, the UHD maps for 50”. Most of the maps were released in HD.

1. Try to remove manually everything from Userfolder/DynamicDungeons (simply delege the files) 2. Install the c++ visual redist x86 3. Restart your machine 4. Start again the editor app (it will create the folders again in your userfolder. Drag n drop only works inside the app from left to the story grid in this version. So you cannot move files from outside ito the story. If your editor/resources folder contains assets it ahould appear on the left in the editor, or you can left click on the story grid and import an image or a video. If you still have trouble send me the log file plz generated in your log dir. dynamicdungeons@gmail.com

im having trouble getting the right Adobe installed....I think.... the files will not drop in place, when I drop them in the editor. any ideas? I can see them to click on but I get the (red crossed out circle) when I hove over the drop box.
