Are there other walking scenes like this one, in other locations? (found the Avernus one) Would be cool to have some to match other outdoor environments i.e. icy/snowy, beach, desert, etc.

Dynamic Dungeons

Yes, all videos were moved into the shared folder.

James Villinger

The YouTube links don't work for me. Is everything in the Google Drive folder?

eric ferrier

coool. I would like "wandering on a river" or an "air chase" ....

alvis henning

there are no words to explain the happiness your work has brought me and my friends thank you so very much

Ryan Hipp

The new files are much too fast, this is like a running pace.

Joshua Hase

Excellent work! Thank you much!

Jesper

Super work thx

Jakub Dočkal

Now it's perfect :-)

Dynamic Dungeons

Ready to download now! Yes, the Player will play it with no problems, this is a 3,5 minutes long video and loops seamlessly.

Cameron

Great updates thanks!!!!

Enigmo

Yeah. a download is pretty much what I expect here. Can we play this file through the DD manager/player ?

Aron

Definetely would appreciate a download link. Thank you!

Faust Faustian

Please provide a download link. I don't pay for youtube videos.

Jay Fraser

these are great yes like others are saying a download link rather than using a youtibe downloader. thanks! :)

Olivier Serra

good job

Fey Rowan

Awesome, but I would appreciate the download link too. I don't connect to wifi while gaming, so...

Thomas Jalaguier

That's really good ! Yeah download link to this would be great, thanks :)

Looney Studios

Awesome

Dynamic Dungeons

I’ll add them as free additions to this post and will set it to send a notification when it’ll be updated.

Christian Thériault

Exactly what I needed for my train fight scene. As a download this thing will be perfect!

Looney Studios

Will the files you upload next week be a separate post so that it notifies us?

eric ferrier

Hey. How can i download the mp4 ?

Hunter Armstrong

Thank you for hashing out more details in the editor Tamas! There will be some rad chase scenes taking place with your Wandering in the Wilderness link also. Great work as always. Way better than anything I can create.

Daniel Greenberg

Seconded on adding some landmarks, especially subtle stuff like piles of debris or a flickering shadow.. Yep, agree on offering them for downloading. Let us datahoarders figure out how to deal with the filesizes.

GoldenGirlJay

Would still like to be able to download the videos personally

Áron

With several, distinctly different stop-spots this would be very nice. Chase-scene with waves of enemies catching up with the party near an old mill, rocky terrain or a river crossing can be nice. Player should also give an option to slow or speed up animations for this to work a bit better. Actually.. you can't feed a youtube link to the player, can you? I would prefer a download as well. Also... Can you guys share insight on how you managed to use this? I'd like to hear epic stories for inspiration!

Dynamic Dungeons

Thanks for the feedback. What I can do quickly is to add some different speed versions, with and without grids. I’ll add them to this post next week.

Dynamic Dungeons

I’ll add them next week.

Dynamic Dungeons

Sure thing

Dynamic Dungeons

I’ll add the files next week so you’ll be able to download this and also some rest scenes, where the camera is fixed, but the environment remains living.

Cris Jesse

I like it! However, it is indeed very limited in use. It would be an entire category better if you could make an update to the DD player that had special functionality for such scenes. 1. Ability to speed up, slow, or stop animation live. 2. Link a portion of the audio to the speed of the video so players feel the speed in the sound. 3. A separate sound track not linked to speed that plays with the animation sounds. 4. Loop it. 5. Ability to drop props in live, with animation to the props that match the scene (dust flying up behind a bouncing wagon traveling along, or a bouncing boulder that's coming at the players, etc...). Almost sounds like a separate player altogether, bit it would be great if it could be one program. Just some ideas. Thanks for another great map!

Mr. Transcended

Very nice and good idea! I would love the actual files when you get a chance to upload them.

Electro

I can definitely use this for a chase scene, with a fixed grid! Can you do that?

Josh McLellan

Not just you -- looks like the originals are being uploaded next week for us.

Drew Wilcox

This is neat and all but I am kinda not ok with my support payment being charge for this with such a limited application and something I need to use youtube for. *yes I know there are downloaders for youtube thats not the point*. I cant really do anything with this like I can in the editor. Yes I can find ways to use it, just not in the way I can with all the other awesome content you make. BTW the modular props etc are amazing!! I love it allows for so much more personalization of a map.

Roy L Petrie

Yes I would love a download of this

Jesper

I would love to download it. A 2 min version would be fine. No grid of course - Grid is useless when the map is moving :D

Björn Sundell

I love it. When I play I usually set up the dynamic dungeon with my scenes for the evening. And if this would include traveling from one space to another with random encounters I could easily see how I could use this. If I were to down load it - does it work as a "grid asset" in dynamic dungeons or is it too large?

Daniel Berthelotte

Beautiful Wilderness road background. Really not sure though about the moving scene part! Will have to try and see. I think it would be cool to see them as a series of "Road" scenes with animation without the "scrolling/moving" aspect. We could potentially set them up in Dynamic Dungeons editor side-by side. That could be cool too.

ScooterNH

This is outstanding. This type of scene would be great for mounted chase situations. Escapes with bandits in pursuit etc. Can't wait to try this out in a Shadows of Brimstone western themed game. Nicely done ;-)

Dynamic Dungeons

Thanks! I wanted to see your thoughts on this, but I can easily make and upload the gridded versions as free additions in few days. I’ll also make a faster one.

Dynamic Dungeons

Thanks for the feedback. There are so many possibilites at the final rendering, various bitrates and keyframe settings. The source file wqs not choppy, the compressed seems a bit, I’ll try some different settings and repost them next week. Also I plan to release the executable file, which is not a video but an applciation.

Dynamic Dungeons

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll post a fix next week.

stefano santavicca

Btw, big problem, i can't resize the backgroud images anymore... I mean, i can resize, the program just doesen't save the new view, help !

Shaun

I agree with Stefano and Jakub. It's great work but I feel like there's limited application here - whereas I've been really excited about the modular map, prop and animation releases recently. I've used the maps for encounters, not so much for... party traveling?? As such, the wagon/war machine/dragon/etc. chase idea works. Also, yes, youtube did seem choppy. Is it true that panning videos often seem to be like this?

Justin Driscoll

Love the look but also really want to download.

stefano santavicca

i'm not sold on the "walking" part, but i think this map will be cool for a wagon chase

Jakub Dočkal

Hi, is it just me or is the playback on youtube quite choppy?

Deathtothemortals

Love these, love the idea for a chase. Wish YouTube did slightly faster than 2x. How would we add a grid without the core files? Just curious if I missed something. Really looking forward to Avernus chase, that's my next game and I loaded up on Warhammer vehicles so I can go full Mad Max.

Dynamic Dungeons

No problem, I’ll add them, also the gridded versions as free giveaways next week.

witwulf

Thank you. I'd really prefer you to share the usual way. Looking forward to it. Thank you.
