CASTLE RAVENLOFT Front Courtyard and Main Floor
🕑 Added 2021-01-21 18:29:45 +0000 UTCDefying the dark forces, I bring you the castle of all castles, the one and only, the mysterious, creepy Castle Ravenloft!
This time, the front courtyard and a couple of rooms on the main floor were completed as part of my D&D fan content series. I am very satisfied with the atmosphere of the scenes, I hope you like it too. With the new version of the Editor, you can add interesting colors to the locations, give it a try.
You know well, that variety is essential to me, so I don't want to get caught up in a single topic, like the Shadowfell, but in a couple of months, the castle can still be completed. It may not be necessary to work out each corner, some parts such as corridors and halls can be made in various versions and used in other settings as well.
This set contains the following areas of Castle Ravenloft:
K1 (Front Courtyard)

K8 (Great Entry)
K9 (Guest Hall)
K10 (Dining Hall)

I think it's a good idea to talk openly about other animated CoS maps, so the artists can avoid wasting time on overlapping content. Beneos has created the Death House, most major locations in the Village of Barovia, three major buildings in Vallaki, and some Svalich Woods and Old Svalich Road maps. Dynamic Dungeons has created the Old Bonegrinder, the Tser Pool Encampment, a few misty roads that can be used for the Old Svalich road, and is now starting Castle Ravenloft. Both of their content meshes extremely well, so it's great to be a patron to both artists!

This is Fantastic. Animated map content for CoS is pretty much non existent. What you have done so far is second to none. If you were to complete the rest of the castle it would be the best content for CoS by far. This is very much in high demand for VTT and would bring in many more patreons to support your work. I'm so excited to see you bring Castle Ravenloft to life in 3D! Two small concerns, though: 1. The rain ambient sound effect is only coming out of the right speaker. 2. The .webm Courtyard video doesn't loop as seamlessly as the .m4v video. The webm starts with a lightning strike with no rain, so there's a pause in the rain every time the video starts over.
