MODULAR SWAMP + PROPS (CG tier level)
🕑 Added 2021-04-29 14:24:49 +0000 UTCThis swamp topic and how the maps ended up made me go on with another installment, which is now jam-packed with a lot of goodies: dry patches of land seem to form a pathway through the center of the mire saturated with hazardous gases. I created a north-south, an east-west, and an elbow location for you, plus a clearing with reeds around it.

With the help of our entry path props in the package, you can build some passages in the reeds, so this location is fully customizable: it can be a dead-end, a crossing, or any other junction. You can also find 10 different props (like snags, trunks, rocks, and even a water pool animation) that can help you personalize your swamp and help your players tell apart your different locations.

The exclusive content is also very exciting: it is a location, which is a huge open watery plain map. This can be made unique with dry patch props.

It’s never been before that I ever shared an Editor project, but now it’s time for that: this example map was made in Editor. Its heavy rain animation can of course be applied to any map of your choosing. As usual, this exclusive content will be sent out in a private message to those who have supported all three creations.

Bellissima!

I have no idea if the DD editor/player should run webms, but I guess it should. However, webm was introduced for use in VTTs. If you use it for an in person setup with the DD editor/player, there is really no reason to use the wembs instead of the higher quality files!

Note that while the program is there and fine for tabletop gaming, virtual tabletops are a different thing - this editor and player is more for in-person play. That said, you can totally use Dynamic Dungeons content on VTTs! Foundry Virtual Tabletop, for example supports animated maps natively, and every map pack contains a static version.
Hey there. Just picked up Dynamic dungeons. And signed up to your patreon. I went with CG and downloaded the Webm backgrounds, but can't seem to get the software to recognise them. I'm running it on a Mac, I don't know if that's the reason or if I'm doing something wrong/dumb
