what's the antiglare i have my own 50"???

John DiThomas

I build portable boards that sit on top of a table. I use an Antiglare sheet that attaches to the screen and prevents against glare and scratching of the screen. If and when the anti-glare sheet gets scratched, you simply purchase a new one (they are relatively inexpensive on Amazon), pull up the old one and stick a new one down (similar to how people have a protective sheet over their cellphone screens). I have had people ask about spills on the screen and that is a risk, even with plexiglass or tempered glass, unless you have the edges lined with silicon. Plus, with glass or plexiglass, you get a glare if there are lights in the room. When I was using plexiglass, a lot of my customers ended up taking it off and padding their minis with furniture pads because the glare was too much. This. 100%. I built my table and originally used a sheet of polycarbonite (Lexan), but it scratched with very little effort. I just replaced it with an 1/8" (3mm) sheet of tempered glass, wish I'd done it from the start lol. Cost-wise, they're similar. The glass was slightly more expensive, but in the big picture, the difference was negligible.

and it doesn't scratch

For the glass go to a glassshop and have them order you a 1/8th inch piece of tempered glass. It's alot stronger and won't flex.

I built my own table following this https://youtu.be/8Dv0N5ll6mU

If you want to start out with something a bit smaller / cheaper, I made one of these tables out of an old 32" LCD monitor and scrap wood. I just built a simple frame around the monitor, put a lip around the inside for the screen and plexi to sit on, then added a couple small braces to the inside to hold the monitor in place. It isn't as beautiful as the tables most these folks have but it gets the job done and I can just pull it out when we want to play and then put it away in a closet when we are done. It cost about $50 in materials because I already had the screen and is just very basic woodworking skills to build. It maybe took 2hrs to put together.

It was my brother in law, he got a ps4 pro in return, :D

How much did it cost you

Dynamic Dungeons

A carpenter built a TV into a table for me. I suggest you get someone to build it for you, you'll also need a plexiglass sheet for the screen.

Does anyone know where I could buy a table like that
