Hello! What is the newest version of the HMG7 magnetic Edition. I had a hmg6 magnet system and needed to update but the version of msdd gantry mount doesn't have the mounts for the BL Touch. Is there one I just haven't found?

Hello Andy, HMG7 ME MSDD Ender 5 Gantry Adapter has faults on the two right side holes where they're not allowing the M3 socket head to be screwed in all the way to clear anything to be attached on the right side of the base...the difference is about 1.6mm.

John, I am sorry about that. Did you associate your Discord ID with your Patreon account? Without that, you won't get your proper Discord Role assigned. What is your Discord ID. I can then assign your Role to get all the channels.

Thanks Andy 👍, I managed to get in last night, it took me a little while to find it - I have not used Discord much. I commented on the patreon post for the gen7 magnetic version and helped another patron get onto discord. I will be taking a look in the magnet edition discord to see what the specs on the magnet is so I can get some to give it a go.

ABL offsets for Hero Me Gen7 specific ABL mounts have not been measured yet. In the mean time here is a YouTube video that walks you through measuring your offset: https://youtu.be/FKvPU2nwdts

Well, it will function without it, but not as well as with it. The skirt performs two functions, 1. it provides a front mount point for options like ADXL345 accelerometers, endoscope cameras, etc. 2. it prevents the heat sink airflow from dropping down and cooling the top of the heat block.

The specs, vendor links, and all the details about the Magnet Edition are in the Hero Me Discord server. They are Neodymium magnets the size is 0mm by 3mm by 6mm with the N-S polarity on the 3mm thickness. US equivalent is 3/4" by 1/8" by 1/4". Do not by magnets sold on Amazon or Aliexpress as they are likely NOT true Neodymium magnets.

Can I make a suggestion on version 1.1 for the tall ducts for the Ph arris rapido. The fan folder are very thin, and crack at the same point. I have pics but don’t know how to post here. Big mayne a little thicker reinforcement on the sides. Secondly. There is some stringing s well that would be helped by supports or better edges. Just a humble suggestion

All the rest of the parts needed for the Magnet Edition are in the Hero Me Gen7 Release 1 Zip. The hotend mount for the Creality MK8 is: HMG7 OEM-MK8-MS Mount.stl along with its Skirt: HMG7 OEM-MK8-MS Skirt V2.stl
