A slightly revised Assembly instructions doc is also included below (but not in the ZIP File).
I have updated a few files over the past week that are not in the previous intra-release posts. For those who want to call out the patron specific '30 day pre-public access' files, I have always reserved the right to add a few that get done last minute at the end of a 30 day window.
With the Rocky Mountain RepRap Festival that I am exhibiting at this weekend, I needed to get the full release out, which shortened the 3.1 time window. I don't have the time or patience to keep track of multiple rolling 30 day window slots.
Development of Hero Me Gen7 Release 3.3 will get started next week, and I will be posting files and docs as I complete new and updated STLs (rather than waiting on large batches to be ready. This will get new and updated STLs to my patrons sooner and with an overall longer private access window. Each new public release will be 30 days after I call a release as complete.
I think there is a lot in this release for everyone to like!
Happy Printing,
Andy

Hi Andy can you tell me what i need for a anycubic kobra plus. I really like this setup
Isael Rosa
OH thank you so much you are a lifesaver, I actually deleted the comment due to finding out There was no other way for the E-fit extruder to support the Spider Pro 4, and then bought the micro swiss, but that makes a lot of sense as to why it cant be in the front, thank you for that precise comment and your diligence honestly!
Andrew Soderberg
As for the Micro Swiss Dual Gear Extruder Mount, yes there is a reason there is not front mount version The vertical mount plate for the stepper motor is directly on top of the screw mount positions to attach the whole mount to the top of the hotend mount and Base. There would be not room to insert the 18-20mm screws needed to secure it to the base.
Andrew Soderberg
Isael, I have an email from you asking about a mount STL for the Creality E-Fit extruder. I have just completed one. Here is a DropBox link to it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o34c2439caucunc/HMG7.4%20Creality%20E-Fit%20Rear%20Mount.zip?dl=0

Good Afternoon, just out of curiosity, Is there a specific reason why the Micro Swiss Dual Gear Extruder Mount is only available in a Rear mounting position. other then no one has made a front one? Before I try to modify it, I was looking to see if there were any Specifics of the actual component preventing it from working in a front position. I have no received the Physical product yet just doing research before hand. I do have it set to arrive hopefully tomorrow. Thank you in advance. :)

Thank you I have looked at the questions and answered them. I believe it maybe easier to send you the answers on discord. I joined your server from the link provided here but I did not see a way to let you know what my name is there. It is LordThorran #7205

OK, cool. Let me know which Gantry Adapter you end up using, as I don't specifically have the Longer LK4 Pro listed (only the LK1 and LK5 Pro), I do have one for the Alfawise U30. I would love to add another 3D printer to the supported list (especially if it is a match to a Gantry Adapter already in the mix). Thanks for becoming a patron.
Ralph
Thanks, yes im Reading the document, I think I Will find the parts quite easly because its a quite standard setup. The printer is a Longer Lk4 pro that is the One cloned by the Alfawise U30 , that is basically an Ender 3 at least for the x axis and hotend, but I upgraded It with klipper, direct drive , spider hot end and bltouch and since the high temp High flow hot end and klipper I can print up to 180mm/s so I Need a replacement for the stock cooling fan. This Is why im here. If I Will Need to customisze something I Will contact you. I could download from the open source links but i tought that you deserved a support for the huge work, and anyway an help could be needed to have everything setted up.
Andrew Soderberg
There are only 37 new/updated STLs that are on the post (https://www.patreon.com/posts/hero-me-gen7-3-2-81821299 ) that are not posted to the public STL libraries (like Printables), this is because my Patrons get 30 day advance access to new/updated STLs before they are released publicly.
Andrew Soderberg
I will double check Printables, I uploaded the Release 3.2 there.
Andrew Soderberg
Have you reviewed the documentation, specifically the questionnaire starting on page 27? With your answers to the questions posted there, you will have what you need to select the right STLs from the Zip for your specific setup. If you are still having trouble, give me your answers to the questions in the docs, and I will be able to get you your list.

If you are not finding the STL files for your printer, I can help you if you tell me what 3D Printer brand and model do you have? And by extension, what non-stock components are you using (or plan to use), hotend, extruder, ABL sensor, fan(s), etc.?
Ralph
I'm sorry :) I downloaded the zip file from Printables and I found only few files in it (double checked now and I can confirm there is not the entire collection in the zip, I dont know if its supposed to be so or not), so since the title was the same I thought it was the same. My bad!
Andrew Soderberg
Ralph, When I post 'updates' they are always the full collection of Hero Me. The very latest of every STL is in this file 'Hero Me Gen7 Release V3.2a.zip' which can be downloaded from this Post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/hero-me-gen7-3-2-81821299 The post description is simply calling out what is new.
Ralph
I really cant understand WHERE to download the FULL "collection", not just this update release... also on Printables there is the last update (a 44mb file) and not the WHOLE collection, where I can find the files for my printer....

Thank you so much making this system! I have been having such a hard time finding proper parts for my Sidewinder X2 since upgrading the hotend. But I am a bit lost on how to find the STL files that I need to print off so I have proper part cooling again. The hotend is the Slice Mosquito Magnum and I am using a 5015. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Philippe Lavigne
you are incredible

Here is the updated wide wing: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8au1086v6qcuka8/HMG7.4%20BL-CR%20Wide%20Wings.zip?dl=0
Andrew Soderberg
I will review and correct in the next hour or so.
Philippe Lavigne
after testing , i can't use HMG7 BL-CR Touch Wide Right Wing V2.stl because the track seem to be inverse on the special wing you made for the er-20, the HMG7 BL-CR Touch Narrow Right Low Wing V3.stl. and the 4 holes on the buttom is essential, even if i use a volcano, i may be need a 5 one. can you make the wide one please ?

Here is what I tinkered to fit. Everything is installed and the system is fully functional. https://www.dropbox.com/s/byug2wsr2noh6mn/s8_gantryFix3.stl?dl=0

Thank you Andy!
Andrew Soderberg
Yes, that should work fine.
Andrew Soderberg
The one you link to is not one of mine. I have a couple new LED and Neo pixel Mounts that were contributed from a patron, and I just the other day finished cleaning the designs a bit. Here is a DropBox link to the files as they have not yet been posted. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rtfkfpapq7rd10f/HMG7.4%20LED%20mounts.zip?dl=0

Has this file disappeared from the mix? I can't find this file with the nipples that go through the board. https://www.printables.com/model/196304-herome-gen5-neopixel-stick-led-bar/files
Philippe Lavigne
do you think i can use the : HMG7 BL-CR Touch Wide Right Wing V2.stl to be able to use HMG6-single-5015-centered.stl to have 2 side of cooling
Philippe Lavigne
how, it's look perfect i keep you in touch when i try it
Andrew Soderberg
The mount STL will need support.
Andrew Soderberg
Ok, Here you go. Let me know if you have any issues. If mounted on the left the X/Y offset should be X -46 Y -9. if on the right: X 43 Y -9. https://www.dropbox.com/s/s0kyfksb5toikeu/HMG7.4%20Eryone%20ER-20%20Sensor%20Mount.zip?dl=0
Philippe Lavigne
confirm ... i presently use one mounting bracket how came with my bl-touch for an other printer
Andrew Soderberg
Please reconfirm mount holes center to center, as all my BLTouch STEP files have that as 18mm.
Philippe Lavigne
center to center mounting hole(same as bl-touch) 19mm total height (tip closed) 40.5mm distance top to top of the mount tab 10mm thickness of the mounting tab 8.2mm i can take picture if you need
Andrew Soderberg
Ok, for the ABL sensor... I see that in a photo from their website. I need some basic dimensions of that ABL sensor in order to create a mount for you. Please provide the following measurements: the center to center distance of the two mounting holes. The total height of the sensor (tip closed). The distance from the top of the sensor to the top of the mount point tabs on each side. Finally the thickness of those two mount tabs from the back to front face. If you can get me these measurements today, I can get you a mount by tomorrow.
Philippe Lavigne
Sorry I'm french, so probably a wrong autocorrect I meen ABL MOUNT. The ABL sensor of the er20 is fixed by the site ... It's almost the same of a bltouth but the mounting is by the site not the top... And I think is the same gantry adapter of the thinker se... It what I would try :) ... If not I'm gonna seed you all you need for sure to add this new printer to your project
Andrew Soderberg
Philippe, ABS support? I don't know what you mean by 'ABS' please provide more details or context. Also theEryone ER-20 model is not one that I have made a specific Gantry Adapter to mount the Hero Me. Do you know if the X carriage on your 3D printer the same as for the Eryone Thinker SE (which I do have a Gantry Adapter for)?. If not, I would need a STEP or STL of the X carriage for your ER-20 model. With that, I can create a Hero Me Gantry Adapter in a couple hours. If Eryone has not posted on, or a request to their support channel does not provide it, you could also check any Eryone specific Facebook groups to see if someone has modeled it. If an X carriage model is not available, then I would need you to take a picture of the bare X carriage, and then take about a dozen (or more) calipered measurements of the dimensions of the plate as well as all the mount points. with measurements center to center and center to two sides. This will allow me to model the X carriage, to then model the Gantry Adapter. I would then send you the STL file to print and validation test that it fits correctly (ore provide feedback and measurements on what needs to be changed. Here is a link to a couple examples that will show you what I mean by these measurements: https://imgur.com/a/iNMw5XG
Andrew Soderberg
Please let me know that this works for you. or if it needs another adjustment.
Andrew Soderberg
Here is a revised Gantry Adapter for the Sunlu S8 with the top most hole lowered 1mm. https://www.dropbox.com/s/mkaw6y2m89zx77x/HMG7.4%20Sunlu%20S8%20Gantry%20Adapter%20V5.stl?dl=0 And here is a mount for a single LED, this attaches to the front Skirt mount points. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7oybt1i0le2n5jb/HMG7.4%201%20LED%20Mount.stl?dl=0
Philippe Lavigne
hi, i have a eryone ER-20, and i don't find any ABS support for that
OGF3
Sunlu S8 Gantry adapter top hole is about 1mm too high, can't be attached. Is it also possible to include an adapter to hold the single oem led.
Andrew Soderberg
Here are the 8mm endoscope mounts: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n1spx10839zn1r0/HMG7.4%208mm%20Endoscope%20Mount.zip?dl=0
Andrew Soderberg
Ok, depending on your ADXL345 and version of Beacon3D it may be a slim possibility to stack them out front. There is another way, add a spacer mount between the Hotend mount and the direct drive mount, I have just modified the 6mm spacer to have the same 14mm mount points as the Skirt. The Beacon3D is mounted to the Skirt mount and the ADXL345 gets mounted up in front above the heat sink fan. Here is a DropBox link to the STL and a rendered image of the mount adapters. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1qxl7clk5aaadww/Beacon3D-ADXL345.zip?dl=0

I have and Ender 3V2 with Micro Swiss DD. I am running Klipper and have the ADXL345 and a Beacon Bed Leveler. My quandary is I would like to mount both at the front of the Hero Me Gen 7 but I won't be able to access the connector for the Beacon. I can send a pic if that helps.
Andrew Soderberg
Can do that in the next day or two.
Andrew Soderberg
The hotend is -9mm in the Y axis from stock.
Dmit2k
Hi Andy! Can I kindly ask you to mod the "HMG7.3 5.5mm Endoscope" Short and Tall Mounts to support 8mm endoscope models? Those are pretty cheap and became popular on Amazon and Aliexpress right now. Like this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003077858615.html
Kenneth Monson
Thanks for the update.
Marcus Roch
Well i fell for the same. So a line of text in your advertisment would be nice. Not just how much it supports.
Joncherba
is there an offset for the hotend that i need to update in the software or does the Hero Me leave it at the stock position? Ender 3 V2, Direct Drive, Dragonfly BMS is the hotend...

The documentation gives you guidance on this. By answering the questions in the docs you have what you need to select the STLs for your specific printer setup.
Andrew Soderberg
I am sorry you feed ‘duped’. I created a post that specifically covers this and two other hotends that are not compatible. I set it to public, for all to see, and recently found out that Patreon has a bug, where some posts that are set public are not showing up that way to non-patrons.
Kenneth Monson
In your documentation you explicitly list support for the Ender 3 V2 Neo, so I bought it only to find out on page 6 you do not support the factory hot end? Would have been pretty generous of you to mention that in your advertising material as to prevent duping people like me into paying for this first.
Thomas Knes
What parts/Files do i need for an Ender 3?
Alexander Robinson
Thanks for adding the Ender Pro V2 to the mix!
