The horror art is a big part of the aesthetic, but I suppose I could add an option to tone it down somehow. Not sure what it would be, not new art, but I could probably think of something.

Are you considering having a mode in future which replaces the current monster images with perhaps slightly less horrible ones? I'm absolutely loving the game so far, but I think I might be enjoying it a bit more if the monsters were perhaps a bit more cartoony or less squick-y.
