Hi everyone, first of all, I wish everyone a happy new year. Cheers to a fresh start and a year full of exciting possibilities!
First, some quick info about the pending stories and the promised surprise.
I've been able to catch up, but I couldn't manage to release two more stories I wanted to share this month. Being sick for a week and being on holiday led to some delays. The Re:Zero story and the December story (with Christmas elements) will be shared within the first days and weeks of January.
Regarding the announced surprise: This one is special, and I want to reveal it after I make some more improvements and adjustments. I also plan to share this within the first weeks of January.
Now to the changes and plans for 2024 and further:
Monthly Stories are not a part of Patreon/Fanbox rewards anymore
Monthly Stories can only be purchased through Gumroad/Rave256.com
Monthly Stories may be released every month; Sometimes more or less frequent
Premium, Deluxe, and higher will have access to my game(s) now instead
Only one game (interactive VN) is planned for now, but more may be developed
The game will be continuously updated with new content
During January 2024: Release of the early-alpha version of my first game
Many certainly wonder why I decided to remove stories from Patreon/Fanbox rewards, and I completely understand the frustration for some of you who either can't or don't want to use Gumroad or my shop.
The main reason was the stress I've put on myself to release a story every month, while I always want to put a lot of effort into it and be happy with the outcome. The delays made it even more frustrating for me, and it reduced my motivation at times. Further reasons are also a very time-consuming distribution process (Patreon and Fanbox unoptimized mass DM system), and the overall chaotic way of inconsistent previews, updates, having no time during some months, etc.
Besides all that, I once again thank everyone so much for your support and positive comments. From followers to long-term supporters, I thank everyone for your interest in my work and feedback.
In the end, I'm looking very optimistic into the next year, and I wish everyone a safe and happy 2024!
