Update: Blake, Ganyu, and Rewards

If you haven't seen any of my updates I have occasionally been posting on my social media and in discord over the weekend....
On Friday we found out that our cat Blake has cancer that's affecting her liver and kidneys. All the options given to us were grim, she would be borrowing weeks to months, if it was even able to be treated at all with medicines or chemotherapy. We decided it'd be best to treat her pain and loss of appetite, and have her with us for a few all too short days so she'd be with us instead of in an operating room surrounded by strangers.
This whole experience has drained me and Jake, we're both frayed emotionally, trying our best to soak up what time we have left with our kitty.
Because of all of this, of course it's jammed up work on Ganyu and several things with how we would normally handle end of month patreon content. February already being a shorter month certainly doesn't add to it, but getting work done or getting to pet the cat for a precious few more seconds... it's hard to work.
Tomorrow - Tuesday is her last day. It's been a really emotional weekend but we are grateful that we had some time to say goodbye. The coming days are going to be really rough without her here by our sides.
Originally we planned to have Ganyu done, shot and up this week... although we were completely unprepared for the news we received on Friday. And with the coming days we will need some time to mourn for the loss of our little kitty.
It hurts so much having to even think about this, or type it, but with how this situation is, Ganyu is likely going to be done later than we'd want it done by. Even tho Ganyu is super close to being done - the emotional stress I am under is having a toll on me and slowing me down by a lot. It will of course be completed, and the photos will be sent via Direct Message in Patreon's functions to all February patrons. The plan is to have the Ganyu selfie set and photoset sent out sometime during the first week of March (trying to get it sent as soon as possible - also I want it to be available for print rewards so I am trying to have it sent so you all can still choose prints from the set if you are in the higher tiers).
If you are new here or unaware... something like this has NEVER happened before. We are never late on delivering patron rewards or photosets. This whole situation has come completely unexpected. I am just so sorry that it has come to this.
Anyways I have promises to keep, and I want to keep them as best I can, but right now it's so damn hard to not also keep a bit of time for Blake in my heart. We'll be doing our best to get done what needs to get done to fulfill the rewards you all trust me with, but I do hope you'll allow me a little bit of time to grieve.
I suspect tomorrow I will be extremely drained so I can't promise any posts tomorrow. Although I plan on posting the Rewards summary before the weekend.
Lastly I want to say we really do appreciate your support. Over the years we loved sharing photos of our super silly and sometimes stubborn kitty with you. Also a shoutout to those who came in for Community Day yesterday - Thank you.... I really did need time to have fun and laugh during all this. And I know Blake appreciated it as well.

I'm sorry for your loss Casey. I was a complete wreck for atleast a week after I lost my first cat. Take as much time as you need. And remember Blake will always be with you in your heart and in your memories. <3

Please take all the time you need, its fine if everything is late. just take the time to do what you feel you need to do, and dont worry about us or patreon or anything. Again please just take whatever time you need, id rather you be in a healthy mindset than have you both force your way through this. and I said this on IG but my absolute condolences, im very sorry this happened.

It's really sweet that you are worried so much about your community through this tragedy, but please stop for a couple of days at least. Try to enjoy the time left with Blake and then grieve without the added stress of worry. If I have learned anything, it's that the community you have built is a wonderful and welcoming place. Let us worry about you for once, k? Besides, we know you keep your promises. Some extra time is no big deal, especially for this.

Just going to agree with everyone here. Take all the time you need. Even just imagining what you're going through has me feeling emotionally drained (having had and lost pets all my life), so please, take time for you. We understand, and we care.

I'm so sorry about Blake. I went through the same thing with my beloved kitty not that long ago. I gave her palliative care for as long as it was humane and then had to say goodbye. It's extremely hard and I miss her every day.
