Ultimate Immersion v0.5 update
🕑 Added 2019-08-01 08:46:34 +0000 UTCAlright guys, my new Ultimate Immersion v0.5 interiors mod and texture pack update is at the doorstep and I'm aiming to release it tomorrow (Friday) before I go to holidays for a week.
This time I'm bringing you kitchen interiors and I must say I've really outdone myself on this one. It was by far the most complex and time consuming update I did so far because models and textures are more complex than before and 98% of the textures are hand drawn - no photos. It also has quite a good number of models for you to build a full realistic modern kitchen.
The mod alone is currently still working only in 1.12.2, which means up to SEUS PTGI E7.1 BUT is a sure future plan to change. But I disabled Forge version check, so you're not limited to a specific 1.12.2 Forge version anymore.
I did include 3 new textures I took photo of and are in the mod elements. With kitchen update I was planning to make a fully modular kitchen so you can change the base and the top of the counters at your will and at the same time it works as a foundation for future addition of kitchen models, materials and furniture.
Keep in mind I'll keep improving the existing in the future as well.
There are a few lighting bugs I can't do anything about yet especially with the "bar shelves" but as far as I know these half block lighting bugs will be possible to resolve in the future.
Future plans:
- I said I will deliver grass but I didn't have time for that - though I did add far more models than I planned to, but I'll start making this when I come back from holidays
- also my plan is to sort objects properly in the mod inventory
- and for the big job I will start researching to update my mod for Minecraft 1.14, so it will be compatible with SEUS PTGI E8, E9 etc.

i tried to use the resource pack using BSL shaders (because my computer is horrible, its a 13 inch mid 2012 macbook pro) and all the textures have a reflection. can you fix this?

Currently around 40 textures in resource pack and many more textures in my mod including 60 new blocks/models.

Mod and texture pack are two different archives. You can load them both or use each on its own. Mod contains architectural elements for interiors and will work only in 1.12.2 currently. But the texture pack alone works in all versions.

ah so is the pack that is compatible with the 1.13 and 1.14 the texture pack included in the mod? if so it does work on 1.12 as well right? thanks for the quick respond

Hey, mod is currently only working on 1.12.2 due to forge still not being stable on 1.14, but I’m working towards making it compatible with 1.14 (it will take a bit longer tho). There’s not much benefit with E8 and certainly not E9 with custom model ray tracing anyways so you’re not missing much using E7.1 on 1.12.2. However I also offer textures only that are compatible with 1.13 and 1.14 - but there’s only around 35 textures in so far as I’m more focused on my mod.

Hey, im close to buying the pack just one more question: What Versions can you use the packs for (Mod and Texture Pack)?

They’re not too big, v0.5 texture packs are 380mb for x2048, 115mb for x1024 and 28mb for x512. As for the mod they’re: 160, 47 and 13mb.

Hey, no the textures should work in any shader that supports PBR. However they do look best and are designed in PTGI environment.

Hey! Could I if i buy the 1024x Pack only use the texture pack? And with another shader or am i bound to using the SEUS PTGI Shaders?
