Ultimate Immersion v1.5 update news [1.12.2/1.14/1.15?]
🕑 Added 2020-05-30 12:11:38 +0000 UTCHey guys, it's been a while since I made some proper vanilla block textures and now, with the next update I'm testing my new camera for the first time. You can already see the difference of quality in the few screenshots I posted here. (bear in mind these are still early WIPs and will be enhanced)
In this update I'll be focusing on some roads, but I'll make them smart using CTM textures for you to build more fluently and without the need to switch between the blocks too much. I'll try to make textures connect automatically and also make them more random so the roads look more organic with multiple textures having different cracks and puddles etc.
Sadly there's a limit where it comes to high resolution textures like x2048 and I can't afford to add too many CTM textures otherwise it will be too much for the system to chew. That's why I'm thinking to split my textures to several packs in the future, but we'll see. I'm still thinking what the best solution could be.
I'll add more street elements to the mod as well and I already took photos of some well desired marble textures for interior but that may come in the next version since it's hard to find a good marble to shoot. I'm roaming from store to store now taking pictures now that everything opened in my country.
With this update I'm officially opening my own server as well, where you'll be able to claim the plot and build on it next to other players. Servers using Forge mods are still limited to v1.12.2, but the good thing is, there's no difference building with my mod in any version so it doesn't matter if you'll want to try it out.
Lastly I'm exploring Minecraft v1.15 compatibility and may come in this or v1.6 of my mod. I'll have to see how stable v1.15 actually is.
I will also be adding more existing interactive elements like lights, which you'll be able to turn on and off individually with added sound effects.

i'm trying to load the x1024 one, i've tried loading x512 and i still experience crashes. I'm not too sure if it's forge or something else that's causing it. I've already asked about it in your server.

I've loaded the mod and RP with forge but the game always crashes within 10 minutes. I've even allocated up to 20gb of ram to it and my minecraft version is 64 bit.

Hey, scroll down to the post called [Download] v1.4. In the bottom you'll see all the download links but please read the whole post to know its contents and how to install it. For your specs I recommend x512 or x1024 for gameplay with low shader settings and x2048 for rendering only (that all applies to SEUS PTGI) some shaders can perform better.

I didn't make 1.15 support yet. It's still early for Forge and Optifine in recent versions. I will see if I will do it in v1.5 but most likely it's coming in the next one since I have a lot of stuff to do for this one.

I know, I want beds so much too but I don't want them square, that's why they will come as soon as I start messing up with OBJ models and not blocky models that we see in Minecraft.

I did :) I have many items saved but a lot of them are almost impossible to make before I start working with OBJ models. Also the process is slow since I'm working on this alone from scratch and in such quality so patience.
