Ultimate Immersion v3.1 update news Forge + Fabric [1.16.5]
🕑 Added 2021-09-30 09:07:28 +0000 UTCHey guys, so the last update was mainly Fabric oriented since I had to get Fabric back on the feet again and no new content was added. This update will change that.
I'm working on many areas now to improve the mod with the shader modifications included now and experimenting with many different things, which led me to solutions for couple of old bugs with PTGI and HRR and to add some improvements.
A feature I'm really happy about which is making mod lights actually emit light in both PTGI and HRR!
I'm also adding mod glass to HRR now which was previously only working with PTGI.
I got this request countless times since mod lights were first added but I just didn't find a solution since PTGI and HRR are still a work in progress but this time I found a workaround! Keep in mind this is not a proper way to make things glow since this feature is still missing from the shader itself but is a great feature to have until Sonic Ether or any other author improves their RT shaders.
Along with this I'm planning to add more furniture elements to the mod. I've seen so many great creations by you guys already but I see more and more you need new models to create more diverse designs, so first thing I'm going to do is add more furniture elements and also prepare them so that later on you'll be able to place some decorations on, meaning I'll have 2 main heights of the furniture and decoration will be placed on them just like plants are now placed in the pots of different dimensions.
I'm also making few new textures and some will replace materials of existing models to improve them visually like this oak wood:
