The De Mille brothers had a studio in Gallup, New Mexico I think Rodgers was referring to, great restaurant hotel they built for early Western movie stars to stay in was the El Rancho, neat time locked hotel that oozes old hollywood. Great place that still exists, themed rooms with old movie library available for free and a nice movie star themed menu
