Eric Carson is a true master and the cast he assembled absolutely sizzles - Shô Kosugi, Doran Clark, Vladimir Skomarovsky and that's about all that comes to mind...Can't think of any other standout performances.

The boyz asked if anyone had any experience with pro-wrestling and I have a little. I'm a 44 year old washed up stuntman and current janitor. Years ago I shot something at a wrestling school. I ended up making friends with some of the wrestlers. There's some crossover between movie stunts and pro-wrestling obviously. I had some background in grappling so I started training to become a pro-wrestler. I did not succeed. It was ten times harder than anything I ever did. I trained greco-roman wrestling, bjj and boxing for 15 years. Never got hurt once. 2 years training pro graps and I got wrecked. These folks destroy themselves. Over and over day in and day out. It is wild. You have to be a maniac. And the biz is incredibly shady so you also have to be at least a little shady too. My bump card filled up fast and I am basically a bag filled with broken glass now. I got to do one spot in front of a crowd. Just got clotheslined and layed out. It looked awesome and the reaction of the 20 people watching was exhilirating. I totally see why these lunatics do it. Five stars

I read something once that said once someone starts air diving with the squirrel suits their life expectancy becomes 5 years or less. No clue if it’s true but I totally believe it. It must be such a rush that there’s no going back.

That Gorky Park movie sucks. William Hurt, Lee Marvin, Dennehy but Hurt is supposed to be Russian and he's just doing a vague British accent that used to be the norm in Hollywood and ruins everything.. for me anyway, I couldn't get past it the time or two I've tried it on TCM or whatever

Talking about sunburns: in high school there was this hot girl who had just broke up with her boyfriend and went to the Bahamas, and came back with a crazy burn with blisters. Everyone seemed to stay away from her because of this burn. But not your boy Dustin over here. Two weeks later the burn had healed and I was dating the hottest girl in school. Then she broke up with me right before prom so she could go with her ex. Pretty sweet still.
