Haven't rented movie yet so I only listened to start of show. 2 things though. - It was great to hear Rodgers on Celebrity Sighting. That new stitcher podcast has been a riot, every episode is so f'ing funny. - If anyone wants more Burt Reynolds talk, Celebrity Book Club did an ep on him and Loni. Plus he appears on the Sally Fields' episode, they mention Burt at min 54ish if you dont want to hear full ep.

Has anybody ever seen/read Doc Savage? Just watched the 1975 movie and was incredibly surprised by it. A mix of Indiana Jones, Dick Tracy, James Bond and Superman. It’s almost aggressively earnest and nearly sexless, though whoever was making it had a clear love for it because there’s all these points of extra effort: Doc’s suit rips as he pulls a bullet from a wall, a bad guy inexplicably sleeps in a giant crib, hallucinatory animated snakes attack people. To be honest, I’m writing this in the hopes that it draws somebody else into this madness haha. I’m not sure it’ll ever be streaming tho
