the tv series SG1 (as well as the spin off Atlantis, and other shows scifi shows like Farscape and Andromeda) was what channel 5 ran for its post saturday cartoon block for me growing up, always watched cuz my parents cut our cable. never watched the movie and didnt expect the theme song and the wierd NORAD concrete bunker exterior(used in the show) to take me back to saturday afternoons as a 10yo also no MacGyver did legit confuse and throw me as a series fan lol
