I gotta say, I fucking LOVED re-watching this. Scott’s aesthetic and score really framed the emotions Snipes was going through while seamlessly tying the narrative with De Niro’s boiling pot all in a similar tone. Creates a cool connection that exists in all the in-between moments. Also when you think about a rich athlete hot shot athlete character needing to feel vulnerable and empathetic to us while also making us fully believe he is a fucking star… idk, pretty good filmmaking moments.

Problem with this movie is that it's not fun. Performances are good but plot is too silly to be a serious movie and yet too unsettling to be a fun movie. But they still managed to make a good episode. Nice job.
