I've been listening to the old eps working my through while listening to the new drops. Just wanted to say I'd pay a higher tier than zombie squad that brings back stangerbot and stanger gorgon, or maybe a super cut of the appearances or something. Idk when the fallout happened or if something happened to the two of them. I hope they're doing okay wherever they are. Either way, I'll probably find out eventually and get some closure. Anyways, thanks for the laughs while I'm driving all day for work, these long ass pods really fill out the day

46/m/NJ I watched it for the first time recently, for the same reason. I enjoyed the movie, but I didn’t like with how unlikable they made Rutger’s character. You want to root for him, but they take that away with his actions. Maybe that’s the point…?

My great grandfather built the restaurant, among other small buildings, out near Brookville, Indiana that they for some reason decided to shoot at. It’s equidistant from Cincinnati and Indianapolis. We used to go there for Easter, always found it strange to be surrounded by glossy 8x10s of the cast. Also the local KKK dragon lord would be there, his purple costume made him look like a dyed egg so that was fun. Jesus wept. I just looked it up, it was in. Kentucky. Like Action Boyz (Ben, just like me fr), I'm infuriated by streaming services minimizing ending credits and filling the screen with autoplay content, ruining the crucial movie experience. The panic to find the remote before the next autoplay is extremely stressful. Just when I thought the steamers couldn’t get any worse, I found a new reason to hate them more. This past weekend, I watched The Pelican Brief on the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max. After hitting play, I noticed a "skip intro" icon. I thought it must’ve been a mistake and was questioning whether or not The Pelican Brief was actually a tv show and I was just an idiot. But no, Max is now pushing ppl to skip the opening credits of movie intros now. They really expect ppl to skip those beautiful establishing shots of the Louisiana bayou from one of the GOAT directors Alan Pakula and the amazing score that sets the tone of the film. I was wondering if you guys have noticed this too and are equally as upset at the moral decay of our society that ppl don’t even have the attention span to watch one minute of opening credits.

I'm not at all interested in AI and deep fake crap bullshit mash-ups. However, imagine taking the Cannon films catalog, but Chuck Norris plays all of the Charles Bronson rolls, and Bronson is now in the Norris roles. Call me crazy, but I'd love to see Bronson in "Missing in Action", and Chuck Norris in "10 to Midnight." If we could destroy Artificial Intelligence after that is accomplished, society would be better off. I should also note that i have no idea how artificial intelligence works, and that this isn't really a question.

Fun fact, the restaurant where the toothpick scene was filmed is the same restaurant featured in the 1993 Cincinnati centric classic Airborne, Pompillos in Newport, Kentucky. We used to live just down the street. It's still poppin' thirty years later.

Scared Straight episode reminded me of a drug assembly we had in high school. A girl overdosed so they brought in a drug counselor to give a speech about the dangers of drug use. He was from our town and worked as a drug counselor out west and had just moved back home. His name was Moose and he was part Matt Foley and part Gabrus. Big guy spiky mullet tanktop and short sweat shorts. He gave an hour long unwritten speech about the daughter of a famous MLB player (can't remember who) he got off smack. He gave details about how she used to shoot up under her breasts and between her toes to hide the track marks. He told us about how she would hide her smack in the bottom of shampoo bottles. I was in 10th grade and knew nothing about drugs so Moose really opened my eyes. All of the school administrators were at the assembly and at one point Moose got animated and said "IT'S NOT HERE YET BUT CRYSTAL WILL COME HERE. BY NEXT YEAR IT WILL BE EVERYWHERE. THE SUPERINTENDENT DOESN'T WANT ME TO SAY ANY OF THIS BUT THERE'S NOTHING HE CAN DO. I GOT THE MIC NOW!" The cherry on top of the assembly was that at one point in his speech Moose walked over to the band risers that were on the stage for a recital. He did a casual cool guy put his leg up on them and when he did everyone could see his balls. I don't know how any of this was allowed to happen or no one stopped him during but it was the best assembly we ever had.

Recommendation for everyone: The TV show Mr Inbetween. It's been going slightly viral since some clips were shared on Tik Tok. It was on Disney Plus. An Australian nourish crime/comedy about a hitman in Sydney. First season leans a bit too much towards the comedy end, but the second season is superb, up there with all the great crime shows like The Sopranos. Lot of Action Boyz tropes in it but really well done.

I’m the kind of freak who listens to the old eps a lot. Was just revisiting Terminal Velocity, there’s some aqua-scaping talk around the smashed aquarium and Ben mentions he’s got some new niche-hobby something-or-other that hasn’t arrived or been set up at his place. It was punted to the wolves, but I don’t think we ever found out. Would love to find out
