Hey just want to say I appreciated your response. I've been a long time listener and I certainly wouldn't message the guys about it. This comment was more about how much it hits that trauma when you're not expecting them to go there but then it happens. It's my personal issue and I'm not blaming or judging but it hit hard enough that I just wanted to throw something out there that might be seen but without explicitly pointing some accusatory finger in anyway. It's a comedy podcast that I love. I just wish I didn't have a trauma that I'm now noticing is all too common for joke fodder. It's sad and it sucks but I'm not upset at anyone. I just wish it could be mindfully avoided if possible i suppose.

Wish there was a way to privately message you on Patreon about this. Sorry brother. All you can do is remember it’s an unfiltered comedy podcast and the hosts are just being themselves. It’s not malicious. It sucks but like you said, it’s just one of those things that people joke about until it effects them. Like if I had a family member that was brutally eviscerated by a chimpanzee. Also if you haven’t already, I would strongly advise against messaging the hosts

Really wish you guys didn't randomly go into an extended suicide bit. Unfortunately since it happened in my life I totally shut down and had to stop the ep. Later I randomly fast forwarded a bunch past that part to ensure I'd be past it, but what a horrible thing to randomly have in your ears and have to slam on pause before you cry in public. Sorry to to that to you guys, I know it's never intended or expected but it hits those of us out there in the worst way if you hit the joke wrong and I've left one movie patreon in the past over the same thing. Suicidal jokes are funny until it's affected you is all I can say... :/

There's this Mandela effect about the Houston 500 where I distinctly remember it being called the Houston 500 at the time (as a 14 year old with too much internet access) and now it's called the Houston 620. Maybe they were hyping it as the Houston 500 and they ended up at 620 dudes, but in my mind it was always the Houston 500.

I think the changes to “chunk” were made way after the release of the movie, because I watched it on Prime with subtitles and the original word was still there in the subtitles in that scene. There was also a separate scene where the gym teacher is yelling at Barry, he calls him “woman” and that’s silenced on the audio but it was there in the subtitles. “Barry-warry” wasn’t anything different in the subtitles though.
