Really thrown by Rodgers saying he thought the story covered the course of a school year. When Dutra invites Abby to the dance, he says it's on "Saturday," and then we see the dance in the third act. I thought that meant everything, from the kids arriving in Florida to the bloodbath at Funland, took place over the span of a single week. Which seems insane, but in-line with the crazy escalation of everything else in the movie.

VIXEN So, the bit about the woman who went out with JG reminded me of a story from my Brooklyn days. I was in a play with a now-well-established movement coach (recently worked for Sarah Paulson). Meeting her friend for a drink, who I was interested in and it seemed mutual. She was going to be out at Union Pool with friends, so I met her there. Well, it's a scene. I think Michael Pitt's band was playing or something so celebs were there - notably, Natalie Portman. The woman I was meeting offhandedly mentioned "Yeah, it's weird, this guy I used to date is here." I jokingly looked around in an exaggerated way: "Oh yeah? Which one is he?" A brief pause, then she says, "...Josh Hartnett." Needless to say, I got a flat tire riding my Schwinn home that night.

RE:popeyes.. I wanted to try fast food wings, and went to popeyes last week, i went for the basic, sorry but i did, the garlic parm wings. They may hav needed to get rid of a mistake or this is the way Popeyes does it. GOOOOPED white sauce over bad over breaded wings. and what i think was pre sauced with HOT red sauce. it was mildly spicey but i was puzzled by the layering of seasonings. it was my lunch and i cant waste money rn, I ate them. I hated it, it was surprisingly bad. I wont go back. I call this a FoodAdventure. I was listening to abz the whole time lmao.
