I would also highly recommend Shadows and Light, a live Joni Mitchell concert film (there’s also an album) https://youtu.be/cO8rrWM8Ov8 Features some amazing jazz musicians as her backing band (Jaco, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker), and a weird movie of a coyote running in the snow while she plays “Coyote”. Not nearly as good of a film as the last waltz or stop making sense, but the level of musicianship is far and away better in Shadows and Light.

Love this movie, saw it for the first time at a tiny 2 dollar theater ten years ago half drunk and super stoned, perfect setting
