Yikes. Just saw this interview with Stone. "I lost custody of my child when the judge asked my child, ‘Do you know your mother makes sex movies?’ Like this kind of abuse by the system that considered what kind of parent I was because I made that movie... people are walking around with no clothes on at all on regular tv now... maybe like 16th of a second of possible nudity of me and now I lost custody. I lost custody of my child."

Fun story about the Seijun Suzuki film experience. I managed to see another one of his recently in theaters, Tokyo Drifter, and damn the colors are just outstanding. Also the scene in the American themed bar is wild. A definite recommendation

Driving in nyc, it’s difficult to make a left turn and not run over pedestrians/dogs at night. You’re inching through a turn and end up stuck in the laser focused center of a white hot sun or a Lyft highlander.

Saw this article recently that explained that the real issue is that American cars are, quite simply, too gosh-darn big. Headlights on SUVs and trucks are higher off the ground and wind up pointed right at drivers' eyes.
