Rodgers mentions it briefly, but since Eleanor Coppola passed away a couple months ago I thought I should recommend her book on the making of the film. It's essentially a collection of diary entries, called "Notes" (not the same as her later "Notes on a Life"), and is a good compliment to the film. The first edition isn't hard to come by and it's got a great dust jacket.

The new format sounds great. I never bothered with the discord, anyway. I'm 54 years old and have things to do. I'd love for them to do an episode of The Flash show from the CW that Rodgers auditioned for. I watched all those CW DC Shows.

I saw My Science Project in the theater with my dad of all people. I loved it and watched it repeatedly when it was on HBO and I recorded it. I’d love to see them cover it, but I’d understand if they don’t to it for a while. I had to stop listening to this to watch all of Sugar when I heard they would be spoiling it. I’m glad I did, and I’m glad I watched all of it. It’s a decent show. More shows need to come in at <40 minutes per episode.

I was shocked when I tried to rewatch Transformers as an adult and an entire episode revolved around the Decepticons trapping the Autobots in a cave. Megatron’s big plan was to trap giant robots in a cave.

On the topic of daytime talk show call-and-response: Wendy Williams leaned on it more than anyone I've seen, to the point that when the show restarted after COVID lockdowns she still did it, despite not having an audience to respond. It was like they structured the show's timing around it and didn't know how to remove it and not end up 20 minutes short. She would say things like "I'm just gonna say it, you need to GET. A. DIVORCE. Yes! Right? GET. A. DIVORCE. Am I right?" and paused for a couple of seconds between each beat.
