Anyone else look up Outlook of the Poet after Rodgers & Gabrus mentioned it? I found an old YouTube video from one of their shows. It's not a full run, but it's fun to watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFqVFY6RDaw

I’ve got a Zombie Squad question: are you going to be covering mini-series as well? I just finished reading Lonesome Dove (at Stanger’s recommendation) and I absolutely loved it. I’d love to watch that mini-series if you guys cover it. Thanks for the great show and all the great media recommendations, fellas!

The whole apes bit was amazing and Gabrus’s ape scream gave me goosebumps.

huh.

Stanger kinda dressed like my mom this week. I need to mull this over
John Hedgepeth
Rodgers mustache is on point. He looks fantastic.

The Biggest Banksy theory that I know is that he is an active member of Massive Attack. Goldie (has a kid with Björk) was interviewed for a UK Tabloid, and said that Banksy was someone tied to Massive Attack. Someone took that dates of Massive Attack on Tour and there are installations that happen when Massive Attack is performing or in studio making Heligoland (Paradise Circus is the theme song for Luther).

Bart World.
Brash Tracks
I promoted one of their shows back before they were on a label. They went by The Management and performed to an iPod. It was the same songs and still interesting. But they were strange little fellows.
Brash Tracks
Half a Tooner. Hahaha. That's what Roland calls tuna fish in the Dark Tower books.

Can someone remind me of the name of the Zombie Squad ep of Hunter that's upcoming please? Fun pick!

Thanks for the shout out, Ben! Great meeting you at the New Bev, and glad to hear you enjoyed the movie. I’m still thinking about the line “I’m gonna braid your tits” a week and a half later.
The Squirt Locker
There were a couple guys who would film a lot of Chicago improv shows, so you could sometimes get your hands on some amazing archived shows, including a lot of TJ and Dave. There also used to be a private YouTube channel with a ton of Cook County Social Club shows (the team Tim Robinson was on).

“Ape say too dangerous to go to Chicago”
Adam Ross
I pray to the idol of John Carpenter (b. 1928) for this to happen!

This would be a great doc for Shadow Wolves

Also, has it been remarked upon how humble the guy is to use the title ”Mr Brainwash” as opposed to stolen valor of Dr, Capt, Prof, etc
Roscoe 112
Haffa tooner is a daddy surprise.
Adam Lane
Ben looks like he might be going home to his Irish wife after playing a game of angry 8 ball at the saloon.
Sean Hutchinson
Hell yea Stanger with the Gucci loafers!
Darien Fisher
Wow, a formal introduction of the hosts…I miss the old action boyz, I’m out

If you're into the Is It Real Or Not? question, check out F for Fake (1973) by Orson Welles, it's a crazily theatrical, pretentious exploration of the idea of truth in art. A great companion piece to Exit Through the Gift Shop

Hey, Johnny Parkingspace here. You really didn't have to come for Ohio so hard, Gabrus.

Highlight for me was the Disneyland visit. Banksy says it was the anniversary of 9/11 and people were already on edge. Cut to Thierry asking “Do you think Mickey Mouse gonna be there today?” as his bags are searched.

Darren Aronofsky shot a 1hr movie/doc on special cameras for the Sphere that they show on non concert nights, it’s really cool.

As an Italian who grew up in NJ/NY area Tooner is too real. My family does Ung-yin (onion) a lot I’ve noticed as well
Cole Trickle
Thank god they introduced themselves this time, I’ve been saying they needed to kiss the wrong guy for 7 years
Jim Garfungi
Congratulations for the win.

Can't wait till you guys cover Hogan's Heroes on Zombie Squad, then Auto Focus for Shadow Wolves.
Vinnie Spano
Came here to see if anyone felt the same way. Congratulations was great
David McElroy
“It’s working” is such a good song.
Connery's Codpiece
I think - with a little time behind it - I liked MGMT's Congratulations better than Oracular Spectacular. But you gotta be into that late 70s/80s psychedelic vibe.
Bill Devine
Get that Invincible compendium Stanger. Also, would be curious how Rog feels about the Willeford book Burnt Orange Heresy, touches on some similar territory
