Don’t Open Till Christmas is pretty bad for a British Giallo, but there is a hilarious scene with Caroline Munro that comes out of nowhere, along with the ending giving off a “What the fuck was the resolution here?”. Worth watching if you are in the mood for Christmas slasher flicks. Joe Bob showed it on Drive-In. Check, and see if it’s still up there. Edit: Checked it myself. I have this theory that there is an original cut that is a Criterion tier European experimental dramatic triller about a man struggling with his desire to fuck his sister, but they needed to sell it to an American market so they added the plastic surgery stuff. Also replaced all the dramatic talking scenes with Fred Williamson, and hardcore violence.

Hey ActionBoyz, I highly recommend you go see “Strange Darling.” The film is best enjoyed if you go in without knowing anything about it. I will say this: the movie is shot by Giovanni Ribisi and stars Willa Fitzgerald from season one of Reacher.

I watched a really bad copy of this movie that was out of sync. The audio was two minutes faster than the video and the subtitles were 30 seconds behind. It made it seem like the main star paid some random woman to look like his dead sister so he could fuck her.
