When I was a nine years old kid at a multi-school track meet, I saw a guy that I'd seen on TV and figured he was a celebrity. For some reason, my mom had a Post-It Note and a pen, so I went and go his autograph. Turned out it was Oliver North.

In 2008 when I lived a block away from the OJ murders on Wilshire and Goshen, my roommate and I would walk over to Qs (cool billiards bar) and see a very drunk Richard Tyson there all the time. One night I walked up to him to say I loved him in 3 0Clock High and how amazingly Barry Sonnenfeld shot it like how he shot Raising Arizona comedically. 5 minutes of him talking about Casey Siemaszko and a little about the Farrelly Brothers, a loud drunk Cuba Gooding Jr and an embarrassed Jerry Bruckheimer and other crew walk in and started buying shots for everyone near the bar. It was one of the surreal odd moments I love and miss about LA. *in 2019 Richard Tyson was arrested twice in 2 weeks in Alabama. Once for public intoxication and the second one for burglary. 😳
