tears in my eyes at the grey goop stuff

The movie CANNONBALL! (1976) has frequent cutaways to Scorsese and Stallone sitting on a couch sharing a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Brennan Wibbels
Everybody's wondering about Greg Proops, but nobody's wondering why Jeffrey Jones got brought up at the beginning even though he is 100% not in this movie and has nothing to do with it.
Darryl Bowen
Watched Beware the Blob....it's garbage
John Hood
Googled McGruff, that dude went hard!
Wadi
Loving the car chat, esp engine swap stuff. I’m in the process of swapping a somewhat mawdren engine into my mustang.
Devon Gravert
Maybe the real Blob was the friends we made along the way
Ryan Stanger
🤔
Nathan Maidlow
Would y’all ever do Stephen King’s Thinner? Seems like prime ABZ fodder
Gabrus, Rodgers, and Stanger
No, we aren’t swingers.
Kyle Riley
This show has become 2.5 hours of these guys discussing their lives and 30 minutes boredly talking about a movie. This is more of a lifestyle podcast now
Drew
What’s the radio show in Rochester that called yall Riffs? (I’m guessing not a Warriors reference )
Devon Gravert
Stanger was it hard to watch the "LA" Rams beat the Raiders on Sunday or have you fully committed to the bit
Will See
Hell yeah
Horace Jallowman
Rodgers Seagal is so refined. The way he said “Molested” lol
James Goodreau
Great movie and was weirdly shot in central Louisiana (terrain/climate that aggressively dos NOT provide for snowy activities). My dad had a friend of a friend get him on for a few days as a set carpenter but the trashy townie disposition of said friend burned the bridge for them a few days in and they were run off. I was born a year or so later. For any janitors that wanna keep the Darabont-tinged Octooky going, I’d recommend checking out his directorial debut Buried Alive (1990). It’s a really fun, campy-ala-Tales from the Crypt TV movie starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tim Matheson. Can probably dig up an upload of it online somewhere but there was a pretty good Blu ray release with decent extras.

VW is reviving the Scout brand as some "all-American" electric vehicle car brand.
Cody Scheibner
That blob could eat through concrete or wood! I couldn't believe it either. Come on Rogers!
Chris
My current steam deck recommendation: Tactical Breach Wizards. All buzzwords I’m sure Gabrus would enjoy
Diarrhea_Every_Day
That’s one of their best bits!
BennieMac
Anyone else think of ghostbusters 2 effects a year later when they saw the pink blob? Lol.
Shmomar
I'm definitely interested in the cartoon where McGruff jacks off on the exterior of a car containing 2 girls from New Jersey. Bad Dog!
Liz Thompson
It’s like the 80’s ozempic!! I would love if the action boyz covered this one
Liz Thompson
I miss him!!!

I'd poke the blob w/ a stick or something. What I would not do, is then lift it up over my head to inspect it.

I am a dog walker and have had off leash dogs charge after me and the leashed dog I am walking - I often walk older dogs, so if we get attacked by a giant dog, it’s not going to be good. This is when the airhorn comes in handy! Even if you do everything right and have a well behaved dog, an off leash dog can still try to attack you, unfortunately, so the airhorn is something I think adding to your doggy belt is a-ok! That way you also don’t get hurt from trying to get the dog away from you.

It's gotten to the point where I add "Reddit" at the end of any internet search to bypass Google's shitty AI SEO.

I spent a day debating whether I should leave a comment about this, but decided that I indeed have to point out that Dirty Dancing was released in 1987 and had a big box office haul then. Anything it got in 1988 would be a lot less, but that's because it was in theaters since August 1987.
VHSMIA
What a blast! I listened first and then watched The Blob. Even after hearing the Boyz describe the deaths, the scenes still blew me away and grossed me out. Bafflingly moves at the end. But i love y’all’s attitude toward just enjoying a movie.
Julian Neuweiler
The Blob episode, also known as the Greg Proops episode
bloodflart
maybe if we pay enough money gorgon or bot will show up at the Veteran's stream! for old time's sake.
bloodflart
"Acapulco." there you happy?
Gregory Anderson
Nightmare on Elm Street 4 was actually directed by Action Boyz fave Renny Harlin, Steve "Predator 2" Hopkins did the fifth one
From Parts Unknown
We breezed right by Stanger's Marc Mason bit
From Parts Unknown
Hydrogen fluoride has entered the chat
Stephen Navarrete
This is how you do a remake.
Sigmund Weaver
A welcome change to have a full episode without any degradation of the Action Boyz subscribers
Emily Tong
wait why did ben brush off the bronson reference no impression :(
Adam Kronfeld
That's a Willie-in-Treehouse-of-Horror level of cosmic bad luck
Daniel_
I saw that clip on YouTube but also saw where one crashed on top of him when he was exiting the building
Christopher Schuber
Justice for stanger gorgon
bloodflart
nope The Substance rules though
Adam Kronfeld
I didn't think he died on ER, just lost his arm to a helicopter's rear rotor during an overnight medevac.
Sam Riebesehl (Reeb-Uh-Shell)
Ugh, committed one of the biggest comment sins. Posted before I finished the episode. Didn’t think it would come back up at the end. Sorry Stanger, my bad. Anyway can’t wait for the Mandalorian & Grey Goop movie next year
Ryan Stanger
There was a lot of grey goop talk
Don Knott Steiner
The lack of Blue Suede Goo talk baffled me. I had to rewind the episode to see if I missed it.
Sam Riebesehl (Reeb-Uh-Shell)
I feel like I can usually see the route Stanger took to get to a topic. But even I was lost on the hilariously random Greg Proops thing
Daniel_
That Robocop actor always gets the worst deaths. Even on the show E.R. he gets the craziest death
PlutoniumTorch
I do some lab work with pretty nasty acids, and we keep all of them in glass bottles. Glass is pretty resistant to corrosion!
David McElroy
DUDE! That jumped into my mind immediately. Fairly certain UPN played The Blob and The Stuff back to back on a sunday afternoon and I watched em both.
Canadian Day Player
Since Howard Stern produced Son of the Beach does that, canonically, make it Gino Lombardo’s favourite show growing up?
erik nehring
Action boys when are you going to cover garden tool massacre?
Sam Riebesehl (Reeb-Uh-Shell)
It’s Skeletoritis
Chabnormal
I've always thought the Dillons looked kind of fucked up. I don't know its the pronounced Cro-Magnon brow or the weird shaped mouth, probably both together.
Berko Pierce
Anyone seen The Stuff? I'd probably eat the Blob if it smelled/tasted good.
Jenn
How do I sign up for the tier where we get to see these videos of Jane
Data Janitor
Can I get introduced to woman who doesn't believe in pets? Because they are few and far between.
bloodflart
Wait...say that again.
bloodflart
Crap I accidentally watched The Revolting Blob
Don Knott Steiner
I love that one. Only a handful of times did a “Protagonist” survive, or get away without harm on that show, and that was one.
Chabnormal
Instead of poking at it with a stick. I'm in the 'toss a rock at it' camp
Chabnormal
The Franklin Mint bought the Trump name
PlutoniumTorch
Flagg has huge homeschooled vibes in this one.
Sam Riebesehl (Reeb-Uh-Shell)
Krychecks photoshop of Skeletor for Kevin Dillions face on the Instagram account was an amazing choice. I think he grew into his face over the years. But definitely has some major Skeletor vibes in this movie.
REMAIN INDOORS
Thank you so much for the plastic pollution content. I feel seen, and also pliable, lightweight, durable, flexible, and an inexpensive byproduct of petroleum processing
Adam Ross
I need three reminder to remember my mom’s birthday, but I instantly recalled that Christopher Reeve is the lead in that cannibal diner Tales from the Crypt episode
Dorian Mills
Darabont should have got an Oscar for this screenplay.

Just wanted to brag about a moment I shared with my lady friend the other day. We were chilling in bed watching a documentary or some shit and Nancy Reagan came on the screen. I just turned and looked at my girl but I didn’t say anything. She knew what phrase flashed in my head. We laughed together. I felt so seen. So connected. Like love could reach beyond time and space. Like God might be real. Thank you, Action Boyz, for this perfect moment of joy. Bless up.
Johnny Ratface
Who's got the over/under on Entourage references??
Don Sanchez
Yes!! Love this movie.
