Just wanna say the body horror stuff in the Substance is pretty gross. I don't think it's as disturbing as in Cronenberg movies because he does more interesting things, but the Substance's goop and gore is pretty gnarly.

It’s weird that when Brooks stopped working with Wilder, he didn’t think to get someone just as talented as him to be his new muse. He just went with guys(Though Pullman did better than most) who legit didn’t have that ability, or himself. Like he could’ve gotten Martin Short, or even (controversial to some) Billy Crystal. That’s probably Brooks biggest blind spot. That his stuff needed to be carried by someone as great as Gene Wilder. Hell they should’ve went with Madeline Khan as the lead.
